Finished FFI on the GBA. Should I go through the last Bonus Dungeon? It seems quite long and I'm not too sure if I'm going to do it. It's the one you open after beating Tiamant (sp?) I think.

Picked up Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana today and I'm getting Grandia III in 2 days. DW7 is going on the back burner. I got to Dharma, which was my goal for this portion of the playthrough. WOW, with Atelier Iris and Grandia III and KH2 coming up soon, I'll have no more wish list.

Sure. Bonus dungeuns are really fun if you over-level enough. That holy casting Dragon is a pain in the ass any way you slice it though..............

W00t! Got Grandia 3 today!

So far, the game is great. All of the voices match the characters' personalities well, the environments and character models are beautiful, the music pretty good, and the battle system is hella cool! And this time around, it's actually challenging!

Yeah, I picked up Grandia III today as well. EXCELLENT! How can you not love a game where your mom doesn't appear much older than you, teaches you the battle system, and fights alongside you at first to rescue a hot chick?

Oh well, now I have a problem. I stupidly started Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana 2 days ago thinking I'd be able to just walk away from it when I got Grandia III. So far, I'm playing Grandia III, but I'm missing Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana. Oh well, guess I'll just split my time.

Oh, by the way, anyone have the theme song for Grandia III in English? I spent about 5 hours a couple of months ago finding the theme song in Japanese and have probably listened to it over 100 times. It's great! But then I load up GIII yesterday and the song is in English! It's called In The Sky, by MIZ (Japanese j-pop artist). I'd appreciate a PM if you got it!

You actually like the theme song? Ick.

Exactly 7 hours in now, don't want to give out any details so as not to ruin the game for everyone else!

Been playing IHRA Drag Racing 2 for PS2. Trying to get a season started, but I can't get the friggin' control system figured out for anything.

Whoever came up with it didn't seem to understand physics very well.

I picked up XIII from the bargain bin at Fry's and have been playing it tonight. Its pretty fun, though its tough since I have to control the urge to just run out with guns blazing and my enemies at my feet. :P The fact that it is set up like a detective comic is pretty cool too. In the stage I'm in, when I get headshots with the crossbow it displays three action panels at the top of the screen of the arrow hitting him. Its extra funny when I end up hitting an enemy in the ear or something. Kinda reminds me of a boss in Red Dead Revolver that throws Bowie knives. At one point in the fight, after he threw his knives, I went out of first-person to third-person and saw that my guy had a knife sticking straight out the side of his head. :P

Also to follow in my trend of picking up on popular things a couple of years after they stopped being popular, I started playing RO today. Technically I started yesterday but the server I started with was 1000/1000/100 so I ditched it for a 5/5/3 one today and started over.

Geeze, I'm just 4+ hours in. I'm stuck gambling. I've won quite often with my current card set up. I'll be pumping the hours in this weekend though. Actually, not as much as I'd like, because I want this game to last. I'm going to keep playing Atelier Iris interchangebly as well.

I started playing Grandia III as well. Like 2 hours into the game so far... working on getting Alfina higher level than Yuki, and then I'll work on getting her higher attack power. I haven't payed much attention to the story too much, but being 2 hours in it doesn't really matter yet I'd suppose.

The thing about Yuki and his mom is kinda cool I guess... but almost a little bit disturbing.

Good luck with your Atelier Iris, I thought it was a pretty good game overall, it had some really nice customizing options to it. Lack of synthesizable weapons was a bit of a problem though.

Damn, I just hit a 150,000 jackpot at the Casino in Grandia III. Got 4 in a row with a 10x bonus. Wahoo! Onward with the story.

Congrats. Not of the prizes seemed very interesting to me the first time around, so I really didn't bother gambling.

Currently 16.5 hours in, everyone 24-23.

I've never played any of the Grandia games. Congratulations. And I just finished beating all the CC card group members in FF8 and got a Gilgamesh card. And yes I did save and reset when I lost from time to time, so sue me. :-)

;) I thought I would revist that old classic game Final Fantasy VI since I have made "Ultimate Saves" of my last two games I might do the same with this one. Of course I'll send this one to whatever site allows people to send ultimate save files of other games. For a nifty joke, when I am done compiling up levels and what not, I'll time myself and see how long it takes to defeat the last boss.

Ding ding, we have a winner! Quest RPG: Brian's Journey is, in fact, a close relative of Quest 64. It's not truly a port, because the games aren't identical (the spell system was changed, a few areas are missing, and some new bosses have been added).

PoPoLoCrois: Someone Stole the part need for the Flying Ship and now how get ALL the way back were I started to get were he is

Quest RPG: Brian's Journey is definitely more interesting to play than Quest 64.

#1. No more empty town syndrome!

#2. Elements have been fixed so the game no longer favors developing Water and Earth to the exclusion of everything else. Now, combination spells (such as Healing - Water + Earth) require that ALL elements involved be developed to their required power.

#3. Battles are no longer "in the world" but instead take place on a separate battle screen, complete with DWM style encounter animations (screen goes black and music plays when you find a monster).

#4. Spells have been simplified. All spells have either Short, Unlimited, or Irrelevant range.
