What's New With You?

Recommended Posts

I had a weird dream where DQVII (3DS version) had a language option that let you play the game in English. The problem was that the English translation was super bad and didn't make a lick of sense. It was funny, but it made me realize we may never get an official English translation...(goes off to cry in the corner)

I know the feels, bro.

That reminds me of a dream I had that DQX finally came to America. *sighs* I got a GOTY guide for Morrowind from Amazon today. My sister bought the Elder Scrolls Anthology for Christmas and I'm a big fan of the series. Still playing Hyrule Warriors and made some progress on the collectables.

I got kicked in the groin because I didn't ask this girl I like out.

In Drama class, the other Drama class performed for my class and the guy from the other class who has the biggest ego when it comes to acting dropped a line and it threw his whole performance off. It was nice to see him taken down a peg, but it was a shame how it turned out. I always thought him to be a decent bloke.

My English class consisted off 3 people today. It was a quiet day.

I'm about ready for semester break to happen. I could go for more sleep.

Next Wednesday, I'm meeting with my mom and dad at a social worker's office. What a way for my day to go after an exam.

I thought that name sounded familiar. Mariotehplumber is also the man-child who hate-bought Rosalina and Luma amiibos so no one else could have them. He doesn't like the character and wants to upset her fans. Same with the Lucina, Palutena, Robin, and Zero Suit Samus figures. I'm seeing a particular gender pattern here.

He just released a video saying it was all a troll persona. Eh, don't know about all that. Vids are still funny, though!

I can believe it's a persona. He was clearly trying to be the next Francis. His voice is way more obnoxious when he goes on a rant, his temper tantrums seem relatively controlled, and he drops "f" bombs like it's going out of style. His ridiculous and outright vile nicknames for characters he hates is probably the most offensive thing about him to me. He says he deeply believes his viewpoints, and I can believe that. He seems to be under the impression that any female Nintendo character is hentai bait? Clearly he's never been on the internet because every character in any medium has the potential to be drawn pornographically.

I got kicked in the groin because I didn't ask this girl I like out.

Explain.

And dude, get asking!

Earlier this week I was introduced to this young man.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irDMrKi5R3w

I'm still laughing.

Laughing? Those are the types of personalities that get talked about after senseless crime. This dude needs help. I can't even laugh because all I do is imagine this guy walking in to a business he gets fired from after a tirade like that, where he thinks he's entitled, and shooting people. This guy is what's wrong with society.

My friend said if I don't ask the girl out, she would kick me in the groin. I said I have no intention of doing it because I have very little time at the moment and I'm also emotionally unstable right now

I completely understand that & yeah, you are going through a lot. On the flip side, it's nice to be able to share that with someone. Maybe it doesn't become a huge romance, but just an awesome friendship.

There was a girl on my kickball team 5 years ago that I met at a time I was wondering if Internet dating was ever going to work out. I was bummed, lonely, and 100% frustrated with life. We went on a few dates, spent dozens of hours on the phone and hanging out. A few kisses here and there but we both weren't in that spot. We're good friends now and she loving hanging with my wife and I when we make it up her way. We brought our 2 month-old son to her wedding in a barn in the middle of nowhere after driving overnight so I'd miss less work. It's just been a great friendship that formed.

Well, it seems like this may be happening (by force). Let's see if she says yes or not

I remember when I was a sophomore, I had hung out with this girl at a party named Stacy, but really liked this other girl named Leslie. I was actually a lab trio with both of them in Chemistry class. So, one day my friend Courtney decides I need to get a date for Homecoming. She's demanded I tell her who'd I like to ask. I barely squeeked out, "either Stacy or Leslie." No sooner did I get out that first name before she was off making it happen. In the end, Stacy and I dated for 1.5 years, broke up before Senior year, I took Leslie to prom and we ended up dating and then getting married in college (and then divorced 7 years later).

See that's what did you in. You chose Stacy when it's obvious that you should have picked Stacy's mom. She's got it going on, I hear.

Mariotehplumber isn't stopping you, Nintendo is. Canceled pre-orders, limited runs, only certain retailers stocking them, etc. This lady-killer just bought 100 or so of them. Either way, that means 100 Rosalina and Luma fans won't get one.

Dunno. Nintendo hasn't managed their Amiibos very well. Rumors that some are being discontinued, pre-orders mysteriously being cancelled, and limited production of less popular figures are making finding Little Mac and Wii Fit Trainers as difficult as finding Bigfoot. I don't think I've even seen those figures in any store. I went to my local Walmart the other day and the only Amiibos they had were two Princess Peach figures. And I think the only confirmed reprint is Marth.

I'm gonna have to go to Target on Day One if I'm gonna get my own Rosalina and Luma.

I doubt Nintendo thought Amiibos would become so popular, considering how poorly the Wii U is doing overall. They probably thought a conservative approach to production was best, but as we've seen, it's doing the consumer more harm than good.

Oh, well. All I really want now is Shulk. I'll probably have to go in on release day bright and early just to make sure I don't lose my pre-order (sad I even have to be that concerned).

Well, I guess for now I'll have to see how this plays out. I've had many people say that I'm too good for them. I suppose I should take that as a compliment.

The family went out to a hockey game, so I'm watching the 7-year-old since he didn't want to go. I can handle him since he is only 1 of the 3 kids. That and the 2 oldest kids are out (one at soccer and the other with her boyfriend)

I want Peach, Rosalina, and Palutena.Characters I like and like using and would enjoy having figures of even if just as room decor.

That's pretty much what I wanted mine for. I'm not too terribly interested in what they do in-game, I just thought about three of them looked cool and were worth picking up.

My game plan with the amiibos has been to collect the original 12 since I've been with the series since Snash 64. Ness is one I'm going to preorder ASAP cause you can bet he'll be hard to find. Other then them, I'd like to get amiibos for a few of the other characters I play, such as Mega Man, Pac Man, Game & Watch, Lucina, and Duck Hunt.

And eal, I've seen Wii Fit Trainer in Target before, but it was right around when the game came out for Wii U. I could've gotten her and Villager, but I had to get Mario instead and not realize they would vanish.

My brother gets his Amiibos from Japan. They cost a little more, but he always gets them on time (surprising since the postal service in his area is horrible). Y'all might have to consider importing in the future
