I'd say I need a drink, but I don't drink. You can see the bind that I'm in.

On my way home I spotted three big dogs. They'd gotten out of their yard and were going on a grand adventure. Didn't want them to get lost or hurt, so I corralled them at a park and loaded them into m

I managed to get all prepped for the upcoming Pokemon tournament. Hoping it goes well this time around. Ex and I have been reconnecting. We both admit to making mistakes last time.

Technically I graduated in January from my college in London. But the diploma took forever to arrive. So I did a whole phitoshoot today of the mail arriving/my graduation. Did the program online so I

I've never had a song make me want to hurt someone as much as that Charlie Puth song "One Call Away." It is the most perfect example of the most vapid, pandering, poorly written songs on the Top 40, and I've probably heard it at work the last two weeks more than I've ever listened to my favorite song.

No better time to start than the present!

Ha, well I have personal reasons why I don't (and never plan to) drink.

You sound like me.

So, after much searching, I may have a lead on a new potential education. I'm going to dig further and see what comes of it. If it turns out to be a possible way to go, then I think things will start to fall back into place.

When I decided I wanted to binge read some of the New 52 comics I skipped, I was so excited to read more issues of I, Vampire, then more issues of Swamp Thing, then more issues of Wonder Woman. And now here I am, finished with Brian Azzarello's run, trying my hardest to find the strength of will to read through Meredith Finch's issues. I've never actually read a comic book so bad I felt uncomfortable reading it. When I heard how bad things got once Meredith Finch and David Finch got on board, I was kind of excited to see how much of a train wreck it was. But this is just....awful.

The first 3 dozen issues had a charm and wit to them. It was clever and it was fun. The story felt like a political drama in some sense. Meredith Finch just writes the most awful Wonder Woman I could ever imagine (as in, a failure at everything she does, lacking zero intelligence and foresight), and her husband draws her like a young girl with pouty lips. The whole thing looks sterile and the story lacks any sort of substance to it. Things just happen for the sake of the plot, and I don't care when they do.

DC seems to have a habit of picking duds for creative teams and sticking to them until the writer is done or the book is cancelled. This is the opposite of Marvel's issue, which is playing musical chairs with the creative teams and never giving them the chance to settle in by the time the next "status quo shift issue #1" has to occur.

So, that program I was looking at doesn't sound like it will be the best fit. Back to square one. Sometimes I feel like going back home and working at the car wash again. Life wasn't exciting, but at least I could tolerate the job.

Tried playing Dark Messiah of Might & Magic last night after a week of not playing anything. Hand didn't start hurting a little until an hour in, so I stopped. That's better than a week ago when after 5 minutes of play it was hurting. Guess I'll keep at this a little longer until it goes away again. Before this flare up, it had been years since it last happened.

I remember when I first got Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate my hand started hurting quite a lot after long hours of play. It got to the point my left hand would hurt from doing anything. Had to stop playing games for a few days, but since I still had to type papers and the like I never got any rest so to speak.

I finally had access to a decent internet connection tonight, so I got a couple of games downloaded for my 3DS that I had been waiting on. Decided to get the Sega Saturn theme while I was able to - thought about the Dreamcast one first, but I'm glad I went with what I did since it's actually a pretty slick theme.

Speaking of the Saturn theme, I actually downloaded that one not long after you posted about your Saturn collection a few pages back. I love that it's music is a remix of Super Somic Racing from Sonic R.

Have you considered getting the 3DS version of Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers? I think it's on sale for 10 bucks on the eshop right now, so if you've enjoyed the first Devil Summoner game on your Saturn I'd recommend Soul Hackers.

It's kind of my thing, bro. Atlus fan for life.

(He has played the first Devil Summoner though, so recommending the sequel seems like a good call. :P. )

Oh, Yangus. Such an Atlus-whore. After all, "Atlus" is can be an anagram for "a slut."

Now that's funny. +1 for you on that one eal.

Though with their recent DLC and tax shenanigans, that anagram is pretty accurate...Atlus wants that money.

Ain't nuthing wrong with being a fan. I am like that with Dragon Quest and Mega Man.

With the dry spell of DQ games we've had for so long, Atlus has become my go to for the last....what's it been since Joker 2, 4 or 5 years?

Sad thing is that while I'm looking forward to the 3DS DQ games getting English releases, I haven't felt as excited for them as I am for Etrian Odyssey 5 and SMT 4 Final (still need that English release). Maybe that will change the closer the English release dates get?

Other than Heroes, when was the last DQ game? DQ9 in 2009/10? I think it's been that long since the last Mega Man game, as well.

I haven't found another franchise to really get into since.

If only we had gotten Mega Man Legends 3...

Still can't believe Capcom cancelled that game.

It was a reason for me too. I played the original on the N64 port for a while, and even though I was terrible at playing it I remember having fun exploring the different caves and the central town.

Plus Volnutt got into Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, and his inclusion helped me get interested in that game and gave me hope Legends 3 was going to be a success (even a small scale one) but we know how that turned out... :(

I've done some more digging into careers. Here's the most recent list of what has been recommended to me based on the testing I've done:

  1. Ergonomist (didn't even know what this was)
  2. Occupational Hygienist
  3. Anthropologist
  4. Geographer
  5. Historian
  6. Linguist
  7. Political Scientist
  8. Sociologist
  9. Gerontological Specialist (HAHAHA Dafuq is this shiz XD)

The list goes up to 130, but these were the top picks according to the tests. I guess I should do more research into these, though they sound like I'll have the same issue where I won't be doing anything but notes and I absolutely cannot stand not doing anything, which is why I start hurting myself to keep myself busy in class.

Yooooo. Historian in the house.

I have a history degree. If you ever plan to do anything related to that, get courses in archival. That will help out so much.

I do IT for Telepresence Business solutions.
