Currently at Port Prospect, did the monster photo for Cameron Obscura and leveled Stepchan and Yangus to level 12.

Well, no story progress today, but I did manage to earn Baumrem's Bell so I can now call Great Sabrecats for fast transportation. Hopefully I can get through Argonia tomorrow.

Though what I'm really looking forward to is the Argonia Bazaar. Hopefully I'll have the funds to purchase everything I need for alchemy goodies.

I've finally done what I failed to do in the PS2 version: beat Dhoulmagus without Multiheal. Even better, I did it in one shot, with no deaths.

Damn, I feel extra proud of myself.

So, I've just beaten Rank S of the Monster Arena and this happens.

Does this also count as the "Worst use of the spoiler tag 2017"? :P

Yep. Quite sure this had been discussed in this topic multiple times.

For hiding one of the best additions to the 3DS version, it sure is.

Not much so far today, did some MKS farming near Tryan Gully, and followed Rhapthorne to the Lord High Priest's residence. Also made Odins Bow for Angelo, Stellar Fan for Red, Liquid Metal Slime Sword for Hero, and Flametang Boomerang for Morrie.

Looks like one of the Infamous Monsters got a name change. In the desert region of the western continent, you can recruit Jockey after completing Rank D in the Monster Arena. His title before recruiting is now Bone Racer, where it was originally Bone Rider in the PS2 version.

I'm talking to the old man to get the mirror repaired, but in the mean time, I went to the Monster Arena and cleared up to rank D.

Thanks you Foul Fowl and Hoodwink for getting me there.

I'm now hating the Dragon Graveyard more than ever before. The Tyrantosaurs are right bastards, and the one time I nearly engage an MKS, a $#!&ing Dragurn gets in my way!

Carrie better be damn thankful I need that casino open.

So Rank B of the Monster Arena is going to have to wait until I can get Curer, because (insert various string of colorful curse words here) the first round of Rank B is a real (insert even more colorful curse words here). Geez, I HATE the team Baldhere uses, because the three dragons he uses hit hard, have a lot of HP each, and THAT STUPID VINE DRAGON MONSTER ON THE END OF HIS TEAM IS THE STUFF OF NIGHTMARES.

I guess I'll just have to finish off the last three ranks in one go later. I was hoping to see what Morrie had to see before Rank S, but I just don't know what team could do it at this point of the game, but the only healing monster that's decent I can get is Hori the KingSlime, and that's if he decides to use his Multiheal spell!

COR. BLIMEY.

I've encountered maybe 5 or 6 LMS in Trodain, all of which fled immediately without a single chance to attack.

I killed 1 of 10. 8 ran away before I could do a thing. Yangus hit 1 of 2 that stayed for a round. I didn't bother to farm with those odds.

I did the rotation force spawning in hallways to farm them for a bit. It works surprisingly well.

See, I tried doing this in Trodain, but it just became obnoxious. Going to the Uncharted Island and wandering around made hunting them much easier.

I'm heading into the Dark Ruins, can someone tell me if I'm too under leveled? My party level average is currently 23.

I understand it can be annoying. When I was doing it I couldn't really advance the story at the moment so I just did that instead.

My fight with Don Mole was incredibly lucky. His confusion attack didn't affect a single party member once. I lost Angelo pretty quick, but the Hero, Yangus, and Jessica stomped his mole-covered ass without any further problems.

My battle with him was very unlucky. He confused Yangus, my heavy hitter. Who then took out Angelo before I could remove the status effect. Then he killed Jessica, then Don Mole got him. So I finished the battle almost dead with the Hero.

Yeah, you are in need of some levels. If Angelo and the hero don't have Fullheal, the boss at the end is going to be hell to deal with.

This was how my last fight with him went:

My fight with Don Mole was...weird. First, I got lost trying to find him for about 30 minutes until I found the map, and when I did fight him, it wasn't long before Jessica and Angelo fell. Not for any particular reason, just couldn't get a midheal out fast enough. But anyways, it felt harder than the last time I fought him. I'm probably just under leveled. Hero and Yangus are level 20 while the other two are 18. I didn't care who died so long as the Hero was still standing since he knew Evac, and in the end, when Yangus died and I was the last man standing with him and two of his goons left, out of nowhere, while I'm healing myself, one of his own guys knocks him out while they were in a confused state. So now fully healed, I made quick work of the other two moles and left.

I was actually even lower leveled in my most recent fight as well.

Don Mole didn't even give me a challenge. He kept trying to confuse the Hero for basically the entire fight, and failing miserably. Made it easy to just steamroll the fat mole.

I ended up with a confused party a few times, other than Angelo. It was a rough encounter with him, and I didn't expect that since it never really happened in the past. Still, everyone made it out alright apart from Jessica having low HP.

I expected to deal with confusion, but the Hero was like "Nope!", and gave no $#!&s.

I kind of wish I had used Sarcastic Snigger after each attempt Don Mole made to confuse the party, if only for it to be like Angelo was laughing the song didn't work on him. It wouldn't have helped in the long run, but it would have been kinda funny.

Also, what I meant before was everyone except Angelo being hit with confusion. I remember 1 or 2 characters being affected, mainly Jessica everytime, so it somewhat threw me off 3 of the 4 where confused the first two times Don Mole used that move.
