I'm finally going to escort Princess Charmless (...I mean Prince Charmles) to the Royal Hunting Ground

Worst use of the spoiler tag, 2017, nominee #1.

I'm wondering why that was put behind spoilers. We've all been pretty open with info on this game.

That should be a Dragon's Den contest.

Yangus! The pirate costume is made when you equip him with a helmet and an armor piece; helmet is made with a Bandana, a Tough Guy Tatoo, and a Coral Hairpin, and the armor is made with Bandit Mail, Plain Clothes, and a Coral Hairpin.

Thank you so much! Where did you find Coral Hairpins, though?

They're buyable somewhere. I picked up one to make Jess a Silver Tiara recently. I think it may be Baccarat.

And refer to my earlier post if the sea monsters giving you trouble are of the King Squid variety.

As for me, I'm escorting Charmles, and I just want to punch him in his $#!&ing fat face!

@Sword - Angelo has been dealing with them. He's been set on Fight Wisely and every time those things (and their yellow cousins) pops up, he casts Whack/Thwack. They actually aren't the worst enemies on the sea, at least on my opinion.

I actually just won a Coral Hairpin off a Siren. I'm thinking Baccarat might be the place to find them too.

Anyone know if that island at the edge of the map still has a good respawn rate for LMS?

It should be. If you manipulate the camera, it will make it easy for LMS to spawn.

Last I heard on GameFAQs, yeah.

@Yangus: So what is giving you such trouble? And yeah, I'm pretty sure it's Baccarat, because that was the first place I went after getting the ship (aside from Princess Minnie's), and I made sure I'd get the tiara ASAP.

There's an Poison Eel enemy (it's a green variant of the Evil Eel monster) that smacks for 40 damage, can poison, and on some occasions it managed to confuse party members from a physical attack. They are nasty to run into, and they like to appear in groups of 3 and 4. They also just show up with whatever enemies, but they seem to like joining with 2 King Squids or their yellow cousins.

I could just have had bad luck with what enemy groups I was running into.

Sounds nightmarish. The worst I encountered was 3 Tentaculars that nearly iced Angelo, even with two Kabuffs up. I have no wipes or flees on my battle records, and I intend to keep it that way.

For anybody wondering about any costumes, here's a guide I found.

I don't have a Reddit account, but I browse it occasionally and stumbled upon this. So there you go! Hopefully this helps anyone looking for costumes.

Thank you kindly for sharing this! Sucks Morrie's coustume is locked behind Mini Medals, but at least Yangus's is very close at hand where I'm at!

So Red and Morris join you with 125 and 129 unallocated skill points, I just figured this out. Alright let's see what theyll be doing.

What levels are they when they join?

Morrie was level 35 while Red joined at level 33. It's funny how Red joins with 4 more skill points than Morrie though. She has 129 and he has 125.

That is kind of bizarre. I'll have to check and see how many everyone else has at level 33 and 35. See if Morrie and/or Red would have the same as everyone else.

Well I dumped Reds points into Fans and Roguery. Obviously I'll put Morries into PASSION but I can't really decide between Boomerangs and Claws, swing both ways, hehe. Also started doing the Dragons Graveyard sidequest, went with Carrie, though I know the end result will be the same. After some gambling at Baccarat I'll try my hand at Rank X of the Monster Arena and then to the Godbird Isle.

I've just beaten Dhoulmagus and on my way to Arcadia.

Speaking of Dhoulmagus, does anyone know how to access Dhoulmagus' backstory cutscene?

I just finished Argonia, now going to restore the Magic Mirror. I was at a convention this weekend so I spent my free time doing the Codex camera quests more than anything. That third golden slime in Argonia was such a pain to find. The one that's by the church and not inside.

If like to point out that quick save works inside the Pickham casino. This is also the case in the iOS (and probably android, though I can't confirm) versions, though in the iOS version for some reason if you load a quick save in the casino, the normal town music plays instead of the casino music - this was fixed in the 3DS version.

Anyway, I still haven't done any story stuff in Pickham, just playing lots of bingo.
