Quest #153 - Vocation Creation Fixation

Recommended Posts

Ah, OK! That'd be weird if they versed each other

Also I made a few for Gambler but you can group them together for that, I'm not trying to get extra entries ;)

I'll group them by vocation:

Gambler artwork

Mime artwork

Iggy artwork

____ artwork

And so on. I can usually rig the first round so that each person's stuff isn't in the same heat (number of entries determine this), and then further rounds... come what may.

I finally had time to create my entry.---

This is ridiculously creative and hilarious!

I should submit them all as a collection for the art contest, right?

Yes, all as a single entry. They don't make sense as individual ones.

True. I realized that after. Thanks for participating. The video one alone is worthy of a badge!

A new research, thanks to a finding done in a private video, has discovered the composition and origin of Dragon Quest's slimes.

O. M. G...

That would be amazing! And it would go along with my absolute favorite YouTube video of all time!

"When I'm alone I [bEEP] myself!"

Hahahahaha.

Oh man, I love that video of the count. Always puts me in a good mood on a bad day.

My favorite parts are the beginning with "Because I really love to bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep" and "Slowly, slowly, slowly bleeping faster."

You know how I despise it when people use "LOL" for everything, even when they obviously did not even smile?

Well, I could write "LOL" today in big, bold letters and it would be so true. I rarely laugh at YouTube videos, but this one had me laughing the whole time.

I prefer SALTS!

Smiled a little, then stopped.

It's how I react to most things. I'm not a belly laugher. But for the Count, I am!

Entry One: Note: I played a lot of DWM for the GBC, so I will mostly be using the names from there

Vocation Title: Android

Description: Part man and part machine
Advanced Class (Y or N):  No, but they require story progress to unlock
(if so) Previous Classes Needed to Unlock:
Spells or Abilities Learned at: Their programming only allows new skills at mathematically interesting levels :P
Level 1 - Sap
Level 4 - Life Strike - 0MP - Absorbs half of the HP damage dealt
Level 9 - Defense
Level 16 - Magic Strike - deals normal damage, but also deals 25% MP damage which is absorbed
Level 25 - Power Strike - deals normal damage, and lowers target's attack
Level 36 - Take Magic
Level 49 - Drain Strike - absorbs half of the HP damage dealt. Also deals 25% MP damage, which is also drained
Level 64 - Megamagic - since they can steal energy, and mostly use no MP, I figured this would be a mean thing to do

I would add a picture, but Androids 19 and 20 are both hideous :P

Also, is there a monster tamer class posted yet?

Entry One:

Android:

I've been watching DBZ Kai, so hopefully I will finish this entry in time, and base it around the energy absorbing powers

Entry Two placeholder

Until I come up with an idea for a second entry. Now that I think about it, I might make a class called placeholder, who can turn into other classes temporarily.

Also, is there a monster tamer class posted yet?

I don't know. I haven't compiled them all yet. You'll have to look. BUT, that wouldn't necessarily be a "new" class as other DQ games have had it.

Btw, extending the deadline to this entire weekend. Hoping to get some sort of voting up next Monday.

Every time I read this topic I think the Quest name sounds like a Big Bang Theory episode title :)
