I had to sign up for sites in Japan and China, and had to download a Chinese downloader, which took me quite a while to figure out my login details, which let me download from other peoples collections, and then after downloading found out a lot were password protected, so I ended up searching Google and Baidu with the Chinese names and found forums where people posted the passwords. So hopefully this is all of them, I noticed other threads were incomplete and had dead links. As far as I could see from RPGFan and VGMDB this should be all of them, if anybody sees any missing let me know. Big thanks to those on here that uploaded some of them, like ChucklesProduction, and to people on Baidu.com and pan.baidu.com for posting a lot of the missing ones, and to the people on Niconico www.nicovideo.jp for posting the CD Theaters, and to the FFShrine at http://forums.ffshrine.org, they had the majority of them. Yeah I wasn't too worried about the newer ones since you can still buy them, I mainly did this because a lot of them were almost lost, I think I found only one person with the Dragon Quest March on tape on a chinese or japanese youtube. The cd theatres were a bit harder to find, nobody had any of them for sale. I just stumbled across the nicovideo site on accident and found them, but being that they are all in japanese they're probably not much use to anybody in the US. I'm surprised the Den's music collection hasn't been targeted. I understand these are his works and he does deserve to be paid for them (he's an amazing composer), but if he/his studio doesn't make his music available for purchase worldwide, then we cannot be blamed for turning to online distribution. Even if we were to import all his albums from Japan, he still hasn't released the original sound versions (what the music sounds like in-game) for all the versions of all the games. It is quite frustrating that I can't just buy them in digital form on iTunes and support those who made them. Anyway, I'm curious. I noticed that in the music section, there is an iOS/Android Soundtrack for DQ1, but DQ2 and DQ3 don't have the mobile version's soundtrack available. Do you know if they are available anywhere? I downloaded it both from the Mega site as well as the zip file from http://www.woodus.com/den/music/mp3.php?desc=dq73ds, but both seem to have the same files. Anyone else have a problem playing those tracks back? Maybe just a bad upload? I just listened to them on my end and they sound fine to me Thanks for checking! Did you download the zip file of all the songs by any chance? That's the file I was referring to. And I think it's the same one linked on MEGA as well. I'll download the zip file and try it again. Maybe it didn't uncompress well on my end. I'll let you know when it's done. I just tried the zip file of all songs again, and it still sounds jumbled, like the song is playing but it also sounds like it's skipping ahead. I tried downloading an individual song, as well as opening it in iTunes, and they all sound messed up. I was finally able to bring the tracks into an audio editing program, and sure enough, they play fine. Not sure why my preview/QT/iTunes won't play them properly. So sorry if I caused too much hassle. I've just never had that happen with any of the downloads before. Guess I'll open them in Audition and expert them out again. Appreciate the help, though! EDIT: OH! I just realized the tracks have a sample rate of 32K instead of 44.1 or 48. I wonder if that is causing my problem.
