Ace Attorney just got even better.

That's too funny.

If it was, I'd have been banned a long time ago. ;-)

I doubt Iggy's mom would even consider you

No, that's only in the Korean nail salon DLC.

I never understood the FF v DQ stuff. To me the game is worth playing or it isn't.

The first RPG I got into was the original Dragon Warrior (unless you consider Zelda II or Castlevania II Simon's Quest RPG's - I don't). Final Fantasy I got my attention as it reminded me of DQ. I saw a lot of similarities between FFI and DQIII.

FFI, IV, VI, IX, and (sorry Platty) XII were IMO good FF games. For DQ games, I liked I through VIII (and not IX)

Probably my favorite RPG is Ultima VII (Complete) for PC.

I always like asking: What is is about DQ9 that you didn't particularly like. The answers vary. I like to hear all the reasons.

I thought DQIX was boring. I miss the party chat and characters being characters. The part I hated was losing the experience points with changing jobs. I prefer DQVII.

My favorite three are V, IV, and VII (best stories) - so that can give an idea of my preferences.

IX was also far easier than all of the other DQ titles, especially with the whole, lack of random encounters thing they did.

And for me, while i do enjoy puns, IX was waaay to in your face about it.

This is something weird when asked if I like DQ IX. Of course I like the game, but of course I despise the ridiculousness of these overboard, forced puns they added in the localization.

So I try to separate the game as originally intended (and released) from the "extra work" the localization team does to add their own flavor to it.

Any DQ game past the first would never work as an action game as there simply aren't enough buttons for all the spells and skills in the game... Unless you were to put them on the 3/DS touch screen or use a menu system akin to kingdom hearts'.

There are seven Final Fantasy titles that would beat any Dragon Warrior/Quest game: Final Fantasy 1-6 and Mystic Quest. I do not give a $#!& what you guys think.

The Unpopular Opinions thread is thataway.

And no need to get so defensive either. :P

DQ9 seemed like a love letter to DQ3 to me. I agree on the EXP thing though. I hated the penalty you would take. There was really no reason for them to do that other than to keep you playing longer.

I understand though, you prefer the ones that have real story content with actual defined characters. There's nothing wrong with that.

His first post in 2 months was just to come on here and basically shoot us all the middle finger. And in a topic where his opinion was at least 50% shared.

Who does that?

Someone who doesn't give a $#!& about what we think apparently. Perhaps this thread stirred something within him to lash out and express himself.

Either way, I don't give a duck what you guys think. 😜

Low blow, dude.

Like you didn't know that she'd put on weight and been killed by the evil Masterchef Junior kids to make foie gras.

And then Gordon Ramsay didn't even like it. MY MOTHER WAS NOT UNDERSEASONED!

I like FF, and I like DQ.

And FFVI is one of my top 10 RPG.

But I've been playing DQ for longer, and it's my favorite series.

FF was just another series to play, but not one I'd put that much stock in.

DQV I'd put above FFI-FFVI, as well as DQVII, DQIII over FFI-FFV, DQVI over FFI-FFIV (sorry Yangus, FFIV isn't one of my top FF games!)

Mystic Quest has a good OST, but that's about the only thing.

I'd put any DQ over the FFXIII games, even though I had fun playing them they were relatively weak entries.

The other DQ's are variable, but I'd say they're around equal footing for me.

Still looking forward to FFXV, as well as World of FF and the FFVII Remake, though I'm waiting to see what the episodic bit actually entails.

You may not give a **** what I think, that's nice.

FFMQFan or whatever his name is...lemme tell you a story about him.

A couple years ago I made some campaign postcards. I linked pictures of the postcards and in fact mailed some to my fellow Den members, including Platty.

Stupid FFMQ man kept PMing me with statements like "where's the link?". His last message was "I only see the box they came in!". Of course, I knew he was full of it since I threw the box out about an hour after getting the postcards and I never took a pic of it. I stopped communication at that point: I had no time for foolishness.

I usually don't say stuff like this, but he's a waste of space. At least Prince Arus with porn spamming was entertaining. This guy's a waste of time.

I mean, it's a terrible attitude to have, but I guess being a jerk isn't a bannable offense.
