DQ4 (DS) Still has side bar menu

Recommended Posts

You may get a little nostalgic browsing the DQ4 DS Remake section, because it still has the side bar navigation.

But I doubt Woodus wants it that way  :P

Doh, thanks for catching that, I forgot how many hundreds of pages this place contains :)

Yeah, has been that way a long time, but I couldn't find a good way to make it work with the viewport settings of the new mobile standards.

Not the best solution as google will mark both pages as duplicates of each other and it can effect search ranking. The better solution in php is to detect what browser they are using and make the changes needed to display the page differently for desktop and mobile users.

Googlebot ignores robots.txt?

Yeah, what you said would be the better solution. I guess my main point was that there was that there doesn't have to be one single version. I thought CSS3 had some media options that might be able to be used, but I'm not sure how Google looks at that. I'll admit that I haven't been keeping up with the latest Google developments.

Yeah you can do multiple versions, I just didn't want to maintain two layouts
