2 quick questions

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I had 2 questions, they are these.

What is a genkidama/genki charge and how do I obtain and use it?

I hear/see the word being thrown around in forums and on Saigan's let's play but I don't understand what exactly it is.

For quest 99 (the ranger one), what am I supposed to do with the onion guys? I've been killing them and can't figure out what I have to do to complete the quest. When I translate the page I'm using as a guide it says something to do with stealing. I don't know if that's just the translation being funky or if I'm supposed to do that, but I don't know how to steal anyways...

Sorry if this post sounds a bit incoherent at times, I haven't slept in a long time.

Thanks for reading.

Genki Damas are items that double your EXP and gold while active (barring caps, of course).  You can get some for free via Present Spells, and you can also cash in your Genki Charge for them.

Genki Charge accumulates in real time for every hour you are logged off.  You can store a max of 440 hours (I believe).  You can exchange them for the various levels of Genki Damas (10 min, 30 min, 30 min for your whole party, and one I haven't used yet, though I think it's double special training points) or a Metal Labyrinth ticket.

For the Ranger quest, you have to use the Thief's 8P skill ã¬ã™ã‚€ to steal an item from the ãŸã¾ããŽãƒžãƒ³ enemies.

Thank you for the reply with that helpful information. But I still do not understand how to use the charges, I see that I have 440 saved on the main title screen, I just cannot figure where to go to activate some. Also what is in a metal labyrinth? Metal slimes?

Thank you again

Oops, I meant to put that..lol.  You can cash them in at the concierge in any inn.  (The same person you redeem your fukubiki tickets and get your weekly gold/casino stuff from.)

A Metal Labyrinth is an instance of the Magic Labyrinth that only contains metal monsters.  There is a floor with two Metal Slimes, a Metal Stack, and a Liquid Metal Slime, and the boss fight contains a Metal King Slime and two each of the smaller metal slime variants.  You can only enter by giving the ticket to Dorothy (the monster that gave you the Magic Labyrinth Key in North Rendoa), and can only go in by yourself (though your standby monster still gets EXP).
