Dragon Quest III Mobile Localizations

Recommended Posts

Look, No Pants! Is the Joke book. Gives.. Clown personality, I think. I think.

Pirate Cove/House of Pirates?  Can't use Storeyteller there:/  Same with Phantom Ship, and I don't recall any NPC giving a definitive name for either.

Destructibal is Wreck Whip. WTF, me?

I updated with those fixes, and added those two locations.

What about the Angel Robe/Dress, and whether it's the Angel Leotard (unlikely), or the Angel's Robe (DQ8's name given it's unisex, though I guess there are dudes who wear Leotards...)?

Isn't that in my list?

...I .. guess not. werid.

Angel's Robe, I think. I'll double-check in a moment. -- Yep, Angel's Robe

Not sure how I didn't add that, since I had been using one for a good stretch of the game.

Oh, that's really nice. Asian dialects are tough to do without coming off as offensive.

Get outta town. That's really neat. Like Dwaine said, it's difficult to pull off "Asian accent" in a game tastefully.

So I guess I'm the last person to notice that they completely did away with the Soo. The Indian sprites of the people are replaced the ol' regular folks. That's kinda a shame. Was the Japanese version this way as well?

I noticed that as well. I guess it's not politically correct to have Indians.
