Democrobot 966 Posted June 26, 2014 Although I don't play mobile games on my phone, I would like to see the DS version. It just makes more sense to use that rather than the original or any untranslated version (plus Deborah doesn't exactly hurt either)
King Zenith 624 Posted June 26, 2014 I think I would like to see the PS2 version, but I am expecting it to be the DS version.
Cain 180 Posted June 26, 2014 An english version would be nice. If I had to pick between the DS and PS2 version I'd take the PS2 version. It'll probably be the DS version though because it's newer and they already ported IV DS
ignasia 1,089 Posted June 26, 2014 I'd prefer the PS2 version, but the DS does have Deborah, and she is my favourite pick.
Motdrafin 78 Posted June 26, 2014 I hope it's the PS2 version, since I haven't played that one.
eal 2,199 Posted June 26, 2014 The SNES version. No real reason, I just want to be a rebel.
Erdrick The Hero 850 Posted June 26, 2014 It would be nice if they ported the PS2 version, but added Deborah. Assuming they release it in english (I sure hope they do, it's tied for my 2nd favorite DQ game with 8. Yes, you just read that. But I play it on my iPad ) they could still use the DS script, as it would be pretty much the same text-wise.
Griever 123 Posted June 26, 2014 I was thinking the same thing as Mr. The Hero above me. Make it the PS2 version but with Deborah. Was there anything else added to the DS version?
Erdrick The Hero 850 Posted June 27, 2014 Tag mode, I think that's it. The Knick-knackery was in the PS2 version, but didn't have tag mode.
Democrobot 966 Posted June 27, 2014 The PS2 version with Deborah would be amazing. I would play the Slime outta that game
eal 2,199 Posted June 27, 2014 Please don't say that. Too many implications.
King Zenith 624 Posted June 27, 2014 A few other additions to the DS version, including 2 new recruitable monsters (Jailcat and Archdemon) and the Whack-A-Slime mini-game.
Plattym3 2,037 Posted June 27, 2014 Please don't say that. Too many implications. We were all teenagers once. We played the Slime out of everything!
diogoow 29 Posted June 27, 2014 I would prefer PS2, I never played it, but played the DS one.

YangustheLegendaryBandit 2,856 Posted June 27, 2014 I have a better idea: LET'S HAVE ALL THREE VERSIONS! Each generation is presented in a different style: the 1st is the SNES version, 2nd is the DS, and the 3rd is the PS2. That way, everyone wins! I'd certainly play the Slime oughta that... Cain 180 Posted June 27, 2014 For me the SNES version is the worst because of only being able to have three party members in battle at once. It really takes away from a game that revolves around beating monsters into submission and then making them fight for you.
Erdrick The Hero 850 Posted June 27, 2014 The three-member limit was stupid.
YangustheLegendaryBandit 2,856 Posted June 27, 2014 Well it could work for the super collab version of V in the 1st generation because at most you only have 3 party members anyway, hence why I recommended it be the SNES version.
