Square Enix Trademarks two new names

Recommended Posts

So Silicon Era noticed that Square Enix has trademarked two names that use that wonderful Alliterative naming that they love to use for DQ in the US.

Luminaries of the Legendary Line and The Seeds of Salvation

So... speculation? Luminaries is what the DQ US team uses to describe the Superstar classes, so it could be referring to the singing and dancing tribe in DQ7. A "Line" can also describe a train route, which could be a DQX reference.

Hoping either DQ7 or DQ10 (or both) are coming; they would be bought instantly (including subscription if any).

Most interesting. I hope it is DQVII. That would be nice. Perhaps this will even be some kind of new DQ game(although I doubt that).

Luminairies of the Legendary Line COULD be a reference to the DQ I-II-III collection for the Wii.  Since it's all about the lineage of the hero Loto.  Roto.  Erdrick.  Whatever.

It's likely DQ2 and DQ3.

My prediction:  DQ 1 won't have a subtitle, DQ2 and DQ3 will.  These are for the US release of the iOS / Android ports of DQ1/2/3.

That's right, I forgot all about those!
