DQ7R to include NWFC Grottos, Monster Party Members

Recommended Posts

http://www.siliconer...feature-online/

New information:

* The Immigrant Town now has a place to trade random dungeon tablets via the Nintendo WFC

* The seemingly official name for the not-officially-announced localization of DQ7R's "Mysterious Tablets" is "Streetpass Stones"

* Streetpass Stones appear to almost definitely be DQ9 grottos.

* You can also get Streetpass Stones by Making a party of monsters from your monster park and sending them into a special randomly generated dungeon.

In short, SE is making changes to the game to better support a Western audience. We are GOING to get this.

Sending monsters into dungeons. That sounds like fun. I didn't read anything about them fighting or anything though.

Here is the original source article:

* The monsters you take into the random dungeon affect the tablets you find

* "Streetpass" specifically evokes mention of local wireless (Tag mode).

* No mention of NWFC on that source article at all.

Did Siliconera get it wrong?

There's this part in the translated article:

The characters who live in town and immigration lithograph passing, seems to be able to exchange my Internet communication

Near the bottom of it above the copyright.

I just bought an American 3DS this week, so this game had better come over here. Hahaha. Might still break down and get a Japanese one someday...

Happy day! Happy day! I will buy a 3DS just for this! Yay! I can barely contain myself! I am so happy so I started writing this n00b-ish message!

Ironically, one of my first posts on the den was in a discussion about a possible DS remake of VII, being purely speculation at the time, based on the release of dq4 and the upcoming release of dq5 on the DS. I guess this is 3DS, but still, it's in the DS family so...

I love my 3ds XL, but this would make me love it a lot more

I bought my Wii for DQ:Swords. Bought a 3DS thinking it'd be the next system for DQ games. I've enjoyed it for the past year, but actually have never played a 3DS game on it, just DQ9 and other DS games. This would be love, yes.

All that raging actually worked! Does this refer to North America only or Europe too, particularly the UK? If not.... I'm getting a US 3ds!

I think he is responding to KiTA's opening post (from January) where he stated vehemently:

Yeah that's what I meant. If theat meant it would be released out of Japan then I thought we might get it. US is probably more likely though.

The day this game comes out in America is the day I get a 2DS.  Otherwise, I'll just stick to the Vita and play P4G...
