Neofrodo 91
I do. I hate having to constantly worry about buying 2 systems. Its tough on my money budget. Plus recording/streaming just the portable systems is borderline impossible. And that infuriates me.
eal 2,695
The 3DS isn't going anywhere for a few years. It's on its way out, for sure. Once you see a lot of remakes and weird nothing games that nobody's gonna play, you know it has a year or two tops before it reaches the end of its lifecycle. It had a great run. YangustheLegendaryBandit 3,697
Pokken Tournament port for Switch, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon for 3DS, and Gold and Silver on VC. You will say wow. I'm glad there will be a Switch version of Pokken Tournament. Hopefully this means we'll finally get the 4 new characters they added to the arcade version last year. I can't watch the YouTube upload yet so maybe they confirmed some new stuff, but either way I'm excited for the Switch version since I enjoyed the game on Wii U.
gooieooie 277
UltraSun and UltraMoon are dumb names, but Matsuda said in the trailer that they had an "alternate story"; I'm thinking that means it's either a sequel along the lines of Gen 5, or the empty plots of land from Sun and Moon are gyms, and this features a more traditional badge and league system. Not really sure why everybody seemed to think it'd be a Switch game, but I'm not disappointed or surprised that it isn't. Looking forward to hearing more!

gooieooie 277
A bit underwhelming for me. I was hoping for Gen 4 remakes.I was too, but I'm still looking forward to these (though not as much as I would be for Sinnoh remakes) Besides, on the shelves behind Ishihara, Sinnoh was the only region to not have a single game up there. Probably because there's a new one coming soon enough? I expect it either after these next games, or in Gen 8. Edited June 6, 2017 by gooieooie

I'm going to thank your wizard powers for giving us the version of Pokken Tournament that has Darkrai in it. I don't know/care much about Pokemon past Gen. 3 except legendaries, and Darkrai always seemed like a cool Pokemon. Definitely plan on using him along with Machamp and Gardevoir again. Maybe Croagunk too since he has a rather ridiculous move set from the looks of his announcement trailer from last year and Empoleon too because we FINALLY got a water starter. Too bad it wasn't Feraligator or Swampert, but I'll take the penguin if I can't have the alligator and the swamp thing. Maybe you're really hoping for one thing, but whatever. Pokemon is Pokemon. I have zero attachment to any generation, so one new game is as good as the next. So, great news! Not really sure why everybody seemed to think it'd be a Switch game Because the Switch is new. Why wouldn't they do a Switch game? Oh, for the same reason they had a DS release later in the year the 3ds was out.
eal 2,695
There was no reason at all to suspect a Switch game. The current gen is less then a year old, and the last remake is less then three. I'm not the only one that thinks the new versions of the legendaries looks hideous right?

I'm especially glad to hear trading will remain in the game too. It would be awesome if Nintendo reintroduced some of the events that allowed you to get the event Pokémon for the eShop games. That's something I'd like to see.

Well, look at it this way: if you didn't buy the original Wii U game, the new version gives you the full experience plus the extra characters and any other extras. And it could reach a wider audience thanks to the success of the Switch. I can understand why people wouldn't be as excited though. I'm just looking forward to the portability of the game, the new fighters previously exclusive to arcades, and any extras since I enjoyed the original release. Anyway, I'm hoping we'll get to 22-24 characters in Pokken Deluxe. Get the roster to a good even number. Hopefully add in some more Gen 2 and 7 representatives. I'm just looking forward to the portability of the game, the new fighters previously exclusive to arcades, and any extras since I enjoyed the original release. So soon after it came out on the Wii U, it just undermines the system. 3rd party developers worked so hard to take away the exclusives they made for it, now Nintendo is doing it to themselves. They're essentially cannibalizing the Wii U by taking all the games that made it worthwhile and putting them on the Switch, acting as if the Wii U never happened.

But at this point I just dont care about the WiiU anymore. It wasnt really that great of a system to begin with and while I wished it was better, at this point I cant bring myself to care anymore. Its not like its monetary successful after all. I have hopes for the Switch at least. Probably will be disappointed but who knows? I've been wrong before. I still need to see the Direct. I've heard good things about Pokken Tournament before.
