DJ BlackJack 11 Posted September 13, 2011 Share Posted September 13, 2011 what operating system does the 3ds run on? why cant online media be played on the 3ds? how would we update our flash player? why the hell cant nintendo make a 'smart' ds, like a phone nix the calls and the like? surely thered be a way to watch youtube vids or listen to music with the option of saving to sd card. can anyone provide answers to my questions? this is rly disappointing not bein able to do the things listed above. im hoping for a system update that will fix this but even then will there ever be another system update? And you know people were already complaining about the price. Even Sony knows not to price the Vita too much. The processor is probably underpowered for running Flash. Mr. Iwata announces a Nintendo #3DS system update in Nov. that will add 3D video capture to Nintendo #3DS camera. #3DSconf2011 Nintendo #3DS Nov. system update will also add more content to StreetPass Mii Plaza. #3DSconf2011 Link to post Share on other sites

LordRoto 33 Posted September 19, 2011 Share Posted September 19, 2011 I'd like a youtube app. But if it doesn't come, oh well XD that being said, flash isn't nessasserily the systems issue. They use a dated version of the web browser and never bothered to use flash. Probubly as a safety measure. For instance, if you could get YouTube, it wouldn't be a hard gamble to say you could get porn.
