Very nice drawings, man. Love the Rydia pic (one of my favorite characters from FF4), and that pic of YJ-era Bart having fun on the with his teammates is awesome. :wd_coolslime:

Snigeln: Thanks. Those are characters from comic books (mainly Marvel, some from DC). If you want to someday get into comics, you could try those ones, I love them.

Hunter: Rydia is one of my faves, too! And Bart is great, especially when he was in Young Justice!

They're pretty nice! I was looking for DQ art on Deviantart and I recognized your name. Good stuff.

Thank you, kind Sir!

Back in the days before Dragon Quest VIII, very few people submitted Dragon Quest pics to deviantART. Now it's easier to find illustrations, and the remakes help so even older games get attention.

Just saw your Deviantart page-- very cool stuff.

=)

I especially like the way the hair is done in the Rydia one.

Ah, yes. Chris Claremont loves his text boxes more than Deadpool.

Yeah, he tends to get wordy and explain things the artist could easily make clear with their art. But it'd feel weird to read a Claremont comic where he does not do it or his characters don't find inner strength in arguing with themselves in a monologue.

One of my favorite dA artists is JustAnotherCecilFan. I know her IRL - we live in the same city, oddly enough.

She's totally obsessed with Final Fantasy IV (especially Cecil).

Here's some things from her gallery that I really like:

Nice. Nice enough to deserve their own thread.

Now, back on topic:

Marvel+Comics+-+Mark+Sheppard+(005).jpg

DJ, from the New X-Men.

I really liked the 2003 series of the New Mutants (written by married couple Nunzio DeFilippis and Christina Weir). This May will mark the 10th anniversary of that book, so I want to celebrate drawing as many New Mutants picture as I can.

Marvel+Comics+-+Jack+Power+(003).jpg

Mass Master. from Power Pack.

Jack had just recently received his powers. He soon discovered that he has to handle them responsibly, or he will become something he does not like.

Hi, everyone. More non-DQ pics here.

Again, they are all Marvel. But worry not, I am preparing a new Dragon Quest pic that should be ready later this week.

Marvel+Comics+-+Douglas+Ramsey+(008).jpg

Doug Ramsey, Jubilee and Sooraya Qadir.

From the House of M's New Mutant Leadership Institute.

Marvel+Comics+-+Steven+Rogers+(002).jpg

Captain America, Wolverine and Wasp.

After the Beyonder's Secret Wars. Wolverine, pay attention. You may learn there is more to being a hero than trying too hard to look cool and talk in only catch-phrases.

Marvel+Comics+-+Robert+Baldwin+(002).jpg

She- Hulk and Robbie Baldwin.

From Damage Control, during the Acts of Vengeance. Word of advice, if you see any comic book written by the late Dwayne McDuffie, read it. It is guaranteed it will be a good one.

Destroyers.

Jack Power battles the Destroyer.

Your art is really good~

BTW, sorry for the earlier post. I didn't realize until recently that people make their own threads for their own art.

Rictor shows us that a mutant's life is full of danger, even when he is simply having his lunch.
