Five years ago I asked all over the internet for help to translate the Wii game Dragon Quest Monsters Battle Road Victory and I got really discouraged by the lack of response. I am a huge Dragon Quest fan, I collect all the games in North America and all those that came out in Japan. I even collected all the various controllers, special editions, collector's editions of games, all the various consoles that came out with a Dragon Quest theme, figures and other merch I find interesting. My entire living room is a Dragon Quest museum. I have been doing this since Dragon Warrior came out. Rec

Hello! I am a newcomer to Dragon's Den, here to post about DQX. While there are several comprehensive English plot summaries of V1: Awakening of the Five Tribes out there (I used this one in particular to get through my playthrough), I haven't been able to find any for V2. The Japanese walkthrough websites can be a little tricky to navigate, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and create an English story guide for it. I'll be completing each chapter in bite-sized chunks, and will update this thread whenever I complete one. I plan to upload the whole thing to GameFAQs and maybe

Unfortunately I don't think I'm going to get this finished in time. I'll try to finish this later but I'm posting what I have for now. Requirements for playing the game: DQX USB storage with 16GB (It will be formatted in such a way that it will be unusable for anything but the game, so it would be a waste of space to use something much larger. Japanese Wii, or a Wii modified to have the region, online channel, and probably language switched to Japanese. The homebrew channel alone does not cut it because you need access to the Japanese online store as well as being able to start the game

Friends, I want to apologize for my bad English. I just found myself in the failure of Dragon Quest 1 and 2 the part where the prince gets sick by the curse of the hargon I'm already frustrated because I thought you had to start the game from the beginning Search these forums and I saw that there was only the option to remove the translation patch of the game. Later, I went to a page where there were tips and codes Dragon Quest 1 and 2 I saw that the problem originates in the name of Roland or Roland. And what I did was save the game with the priest who is in

It is sad, after 10 years, this didn't go anywhere. Has anything changed since that time? Will arrive the day when the snes receives a complete DQVI translation?

Hello, I'm JessicaAlbert13 if you didn't already know. I'm a huge fan of Dragon Quest! I've completed every game, cept Dragon Warrior VII (grah, 82 hours in and still on disc 1). My website is DQ-HQ and I have a tumblr, both links are on my signature. I have a youtube by the same name. In fact if you find a JessicaAlbert13 that's not me I would be shocked! I would love to see more Dragon Quest in English, and not just Dragon Quest games. At home I have a HUGE manga collection. I'm a book nerd! I love Berserk, Sailor Moon (they're re-releasing it), Black Cat, FullMetal Alchemist, +Anima, Th

This is a translation of the Fairy Library Quest. This translation should be able to help you through the puzzles of the quest without spoiling any of the fun of figuring out the puzzles yourself. The guide provides nothing other than the translation of the Japanese that occurs when you take various actions. I believe that there are no level or any other kind of restrictions needed to accept the quest. The quest can be accepted by going into the well in the west part of Megisutoris [メギストリス]. The translation begins after you have already examined the sparkly book in the libary. Q

http://venturebeat.com/2014/10/18/how-13-years-changed-the-language-and-culture-of-dragon-quest-games/ Neat article. A little tidbit about DQIII was dropped in there. That's something new. And about DQVII :-( Basically nothing new.

I figured it might be nice to make a topic strictly where people having problems getting the beta to work can post and maybe get some help. I guess people asking for translations can come here too if they wanted. So my problem is with downloading what I assume is the update for the actual beta. The download is really dragging. It took me about 5 or so hours to fully download the thing, and when it finally finished I must've clicked on the wrong thing because it's downloading the entire thing again. Not sure if anyone can help with this, but just a heads up for others to be careful wha
