  1. Hello! So I've been going super scientific over the coin pusher minigame available in DQotS, and I'm here to share my research . Me, a total crackhead playing this game for at least a 3 days worth of playtime to get gadabout, I'm a third of my way in. At first, I was thinking about making an extensive guide how to play and take advantage of the system, but I can't really at the moment so, that aside, I'm here to share some stats I have gathered instead! Let's start with some miscellaneous facts first: Bosses and befriended monsters attack have a defined single value, yes it means there is no resistance or advantage whatsoever, a spiked hare will hit 118 nonetheless of the boss and a boss you will hit you the same amount of HP nevertheless of your team formation (although team HP max does depend on team formation, see below) Your team formation will create a set of total HP depending on the befriended enemy's rank (see rank down below) Befriended monsters are officially tier'd into 3 states: Gold - Silver and Bronze (you can spot them on their pedestal upon summon), they will give a set amount of HP (better ranked monsters = more health, inverse is true) and their rank is tied to how much attack they have as well. In order to guarantee surviving on Superbosses (see superbosses below), you need a team of at least one gold and two silver ranked monsters, and the gold is the prominent attacker/skill release on the rolls, or have 2 golds and pray the lesser ranked enemy doesn't attack as much. Superbosses (not official, made up by me) are bosses above 2,000 HP AND/OR have a skill that affects the board, such as Malroth, Zoma, Dragonlord 2nd, these will more than likely wipe out your team and split the battle in two unless the condition in the point above are met. Said superbosses have a jackpot reward of 450,000 coins, although I don't know if it's due to the premium coin pusher I'm using or if it applies to regular pusher (let me know!) Baramos is an outlier, as he's technically a superboss in terms of HP amount, but is probably the second easiest one after Dragonlord 2nd, and the 450,000 reward is not guaranteed (I got 150,000 more than once). Superbosses guarantee a Jackpot shot as their reward, with the exception of Baramos. The game shuffles around 12 bosses in total. The game shuffles around 20 befriendable monsters, although their rate is biased to which boss you are about to counter (ig, more likely to get gold and silver on superbosses while weaker bosses you'll generally have a trio of bronze monsters) Keep that in mind for the point #3! The Jackpot shot prematurely ends the roulette from spinning when you tap the screen. Throwing coins to hit the side slots will more than likely push the coins to the side pits rather than forward, making you lose them. It is preferred that you only throw on the center spot, while the pusher is coming forward. The rare "7" roll match is a Jackpot shot, in case you never landed on it, and the reward is the same as the superbosses, being 450,000 coins at stake. The rare "Go-go" roll match activates an effect of giving you 5 consecutive guaranteed roll matches. Treasure chests always give you a ring. Items (rings, crowns, ingots, monster figurines, etc...) CANNOT and WILL NOT fall into the side waste pits, at worst they will be stuck because of the coin formation. To easily resolve this go to the menu → click "reposition" button and the game will take those stuck items and put them back on the center. Theories: The Jackpot shot may be slowed down even more if you tap more than once on the screen, I once managed to get the Jackpot Shot's roulette to last 2 seconds. There might be a timing to figure out thanks to the tapping in order to get a guaranteed landing on the Jackpot Shot depending on where on the roulette the arrow starts relative to the Jackpot shot slot, as I managed to get jackpot 3 times on weaker bosses tapping at the exact position on the roulette, although it did not work on superbosses so far. I decided to not put rewards as they are quite random and it will take me time to have a 100% drop rate on every one of them to know the max amount of coins they can give. Just keep in mind that Superbosses have a Jackpot Spot reward of 450,000 coins and weaker bosses 21,000 or 15,000 if they give one; and again, this was done on premium, the rewards might be cut in 3 to get the result for the regular pusher, would like to know if the regular ones give the same Jackpot Spot rewards. Preface for the Boss and Befriended Monsters stats: Green is HP of the subject, red is their attack value, and purple the attack value of their skill. Orange indicates a board effect from a skill OR a debuff effect on the target. BOSS STATISTICS [sorted by HP, then total attack including skills] : superboss class bosses: Malroth - 2,300 HP, Deals a single 140 HP attack on your team. Skill: Hellzapple (459 HP attack) - sends a lightning strike on the board, evaporating the coins around the area, lasts for 10 seconds (CT might be 120 seconds) Zoma - 2,300 HP, Deals two 75 HP attacks on your team. Skill: Kacrack (320 HP attack) - summons three icicles towards the gathering coin spot and makes the ground slippery, which creates the effect of sliding coins towards the side pits for about 10 seconds (CT might be between 60 to 120 seconds) Baramos - 2,100 HP, Deals one 124 HP attack on your team. Skill: Mountainmover (250 HP attack) - no board effect, (CT might between 60 to 120 seconds). Dragonlord, 2nd phase - 1,650 HP, Deals one 90 HP attack on your team. Skill: Scorch (650 HP attack) - incarcerates the board which makes the coins vanish, dures approximately 10 seconds (CT might between 60 to 120 seconds). basic bosses: Hargon - 1,500 HP, Deals one 90 HP attack on your team. Skill: Kaboom (420 HP attack, nice) - no board effect, (CT 120 seconds maybe). Dragonlord, 1st phase - 1,400 HP, Deals one 100 HP attack on your team. Skill: Inferno (220 HP attack) - no board effect (CT 60 seconds maybe). Golem - 1,300 HP, Deals one 50 HP attack on your team. Skill: Megaton Punch - no board effect (attack value and CT approximate missing! I have not recorded it!). Striking Sabrecat - 1,050 HP, Deals one 50 HP attack on your team. Skill: Gale Force Fang (80 HP attack) - no board effect (CT 60 seconds maybe). Wrecktor - 1,000 HP, Deals one 60 HP attack on your team. Skill: Boom (160 HP attack) - no board effect (CT 60 seconds maybe). Orochi - 850 HP, Deals three 20 HP attacks on your team. Skill: Fireball Storm (120 HP attack) - no board effect (CT 60 seconds maybe). Robbin' 'Ood - 810 HP, Deals one 60 HP attack on your team. Skill: Helm Splitter (260 HP attack) - no board effect (CT 60 seconds maybe). Knight Abberant - 800 HP, Deals three 20 HP attacks on your team. Skill: Tomahawk (120 HP attack) - no board effect (CT 30 to 60 seconds maybe). Please note that CT is very inconsistent, even when recording them. I'm only giving an indicative timing on them. BEFRIENDED MONSTERS STATISTICS [sorted by attack value, then skill attack] Gold tier monsters: Dragon Zombie - one 220 HP attack. Skill: Freezing Blizzard (400 HP attack) Archdemon - one 210 HP attack. Skill: Didn't catch the name, sorry! (210 HP attack) Gigantes - one 200 HP attack. Skill: Crackerwack (370 HP attack) Killing Machine - one 194 HP attack. Skill: Krackle Slash (429 HP attack) Green Dragon - one 190 HP attack. Skill: Flame Breath (460 HP attack) Silver tier monsters: Boss Troll - two 85 HP attacks. Skill: Boulder Toss (200 HP attack) Silvapethicus - one 162 HP attack. Skill: Sizzle (204 HP attack) Living Statue - one 155 HP attack. Skill: Stomp (220 HP attack) Orc King - one 145 HP attack. Skill: Mercurial Thrust (280 HP attack) Golem - one 120 HP attack. Skill: Megaton Punch (350 HP attack) Bronze tier monsters: Walking Corpse - one 130 HP attack. Skill: Poison attack (135 HP attack, may cause poison status) Goodybag - one 125 HP attack. Skill: Sizzle (150 HP attack) Dancing Flame - one 120 HP attack. Skill: Flame Breath (160 HP attack) Restless Armour - one 115 HP attack. Skill: Attack Attacker (180 HP attack) Spiked Hare - one 118 HP attack. Skill: Zap (170 HP attack) Dracky - one 90 HP attack. Skill: Zam (100 HP attack) Imp - one 85 HP attack. Skill: Boom (110 HP attack) Funghoul - one 80 HP attack. Skill: Sleep Attack (120 HP attack, may cause sleep status) Medislime - one 76 HP attack. Skill: Spinning Tackle (176 HP attack) Slime - one 70 HP attack. Skill: Inferno Breath (140 HP attack) looks like slime is at the bottom, well that's kind of expected. Note: for the tiers I'm not entierly sure about Walking Corpse being in bronze, but if there are any errors let me know I'll correct it in the future! Miel's personal guidance and tricks You aren't 100% required to follow them, but I have assembled a couple of tricks and guidance in order to maximise your gameplay of the minigame. Call me the coin pusher expert or crackhead, as you wish. I've managed to earn a total of 330k in less than a day worth of playing after all, and not even touching the high Jackpot shots rewards of 150k or 350k . Rambling aside, here are some of my guidances, and tricks regarding the coin pusher gameplay: Try to play everyday, if you can. The most opportunistic way of playing it is when you run out of stamina and are waiting for it to refill. It's a good pass-time (in my opinion). You will earn daily challenges, and while the amounts are not substantial they can make that difference when you need a couple thousand coins for x reward exchange. Take advantage of the slot rate up events, they might seem insignificant but they boost your playthrough quite a lot as you'll be more likely to land on matching rolls. Avoid throwing the coins towards the sides of the pusher (left and right), as the coins that pass through the slime will push the other coins towards the side waste pits rather than forward to the reward pit in front of you. Maximise your middle throws like in this linked video, when the pusher comes forward. Maximise your roll count, especially prior to a boss battle; the reason why is that at high count and always putting more guarantees the slot rolling fast, it does by default. By the time you get an extra slot the machine might have already run 2 if it wasn't a match. As for the boss battle, having a max count lets you not worry about the combat much and focus on pushing the coins to earn them, the turns are slow enough to maximise and keep it high througout the fight. This mini-game requires mostly all of your attention, from my experience 30 seconds or more of inattention destabilised my playthrough because of the rolls quickly running out. The big money comes mostly from chests and bosses, for chests not so much if you make a lot of coins fall on the sides. But bosses are pretty generous especially with a Jackpot shot. Following up the previous point, make sure to rush to bosses, now knowing the stats of befriended monsters you can predict whether you are going to survive in one battle against the likes of Malroth and Zoma. You should be aiming for jackpot shots and try your best to get timing with the tapping. Rush the coin pusher when you are about to deal with Malroth, Zoma and Dragonlord2 because of their board effect most of your coins on it will be gone, you want them to fall and be earned as much before they whip out their super skills. Take advantage of the coin bag, treasure chests and monster while rolls. The reason is simple; they push significantly more coins than a single one, plus the treasure chests and bags will spread coins so the push will be evenly. When those happen you don't need to throw coins for one small back and forth of the pusher to get coins forward falling. If you are on the premium coin pusher like me, be extra careful with your throw coins, everything is tripled including those. With treasure chests, bags and following my guidance your coin count should be stagnating, if not slightly get higher by only the hundreds. Hopefully this small pseudo-guide will be helpful to any gadabout seeker! I plan to update it whenever I find out about more stuff (what I missed due to RNG, rather) or to correct myself. And here's hoping that future updates won't ruin the meta that took me so much time taking notes of, although extra bosses and monsters would be very welcome. -------------------------- immediate edit: fixed some typos
  2. For the following I am using chrome so everything is translated for me on the page. There are other add-ons you can install for your browser that will translate. However, I am going through Chrome for sake of ease. Setting up a Square-Enix account: Obtaining the trial: Adding a Game Key: Setting up your Subscription: Claiming Item Codes: Confirmation of Service Ok! Here's something that has been asked a few times so I'm putting it here. IMPORTANT (teehee I said import) 1. To type in Japanese you need to install the Japanese IME for windows. This can be found in the control panel under keyboard. To have Japanese text displayed out of game like in the options application you must switch your computer's locale to Japanese. 2. If you get version 2 (the expansion). Check out my post right after the next on how to make sure you have it. I can't add any more pictures to the original post due to forum restrictions. 3. If the configuration tool is showing nothing but question marks for you. Change your date and time settings to Japanese format. Don't ask me why, but it's a flag for a few things in Windows. 4. Kid'sFree Play Time in JST (Japanese Standard Time): Monday - Friday: 4p.m. to 6 p.m Saturday and Sunday: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. 5. I've tested windows 7,8,8.1 and 10 with DQX. I've not had a problem as of yet.
  3. Unfortunately I don't think I'm going to get this finished in time. I'll try to finish this later but I'm posting what I have for now. Requirements for playing the game: DQX USB storage with 16GB (It will be formatted in such a way that it will be unusable for anything but the game, so it would be a waste of space to use something much larger. Japanese Wii, or a Wii modified to have the region, online channel, and probably language switched to Japanese. The homebrew channel alone does not cut it because you need access to the Japanese online store as well as being able to start the game from the USB device instead of a disk. This means that you have to remove your account on the Wii Ware channel, which will delete any games you downloaded from it as well. If you have an older Wii model you can use Homebrew with Any Region Changer. If you have a newer Wii Saigan had success with his model LU70 Wii with Mod Mii created by XFlak. Internet for your Wii to use. If a VPN is needed, please see my VPN guide. (Not required to play, but extremely useful) USB Keyboard. You can probably just take the one from a computer and connect it and be able to use it. A Japanese keyboard is better since pressing Shift-2 won't give you an "@" symbol since that isn't where it is placed on a Japanese keyboard, but all of the Alphabet letters are where you expect them, so normal English can be typed without issue. Pressing "Caps Lock" will allow you to type in English without it getting changed to Japanese. If you buy the slime keyboard you can use that so that the characters on the keyboard match what the game shows on the screen. (Not needed) Classic Controller Pro. You can use it if you really feel more comfortable with it, but if you are used to playing Zelda with a Wii Remote, it shouldn't take long to master it on Wii Remote. 500 Free Wii Points The Japanese Wii system has an ambassador program where if you are helped by someone to connect to the internet you and the person who helped you can each get 500 Wii points. To be eligible you have to have connected to the internet for the first time in the last month. If this is the case, PM me and we can exchange Wii friend codes and I will help you through the process. This will give you half off a month of the game. Starting the game The game will need to be installed first, and updates will likely also need to be downloaded off the internet. I will give a more detailed description of the process once I have the game. Once the game is loaded you can play the offline part of the game. You should be able to change your name in the online world, but you won't be able to change your gender. Commands When playing the game offline Go on an adventure Make an Adventure Log Erase an Adventure Log Return the the Title The online start window looks almost exactly the same as the offline one. Last three commands are: Buy a ticket to play the game When you are having problems Log out. This is the main menu in game Talk Spell Item Battle Records Equipment Search Strength (Translated as Attributes in DQ9) Strategies (Translated as Misc. in DQ9) If someone invites you to join their party or be their friend a new command will temporarily show up on top allowing you to respond to their invitation. Battle Menu Offline Attack Spell Item Strategy (Also translated as Misc. in DQ9) Battle Menu Online The new command in the middle is Skill. Here are some statuses Poison Confused Cursed Paralysis Sleep Communication If you hold down B for a few seconds the "Common Sayings" menu comes up so that you can easily say something (rather than type it). They are also paired with gestures (which you can change). If you just memorize these sayings you can communicate with Japanese people without seeming odd. This is the first page of common sayings. (Use this one when you or someone else joins a party) Great work (Though it is a saying you only say at the end of playing) I'm sorry OK to go? OK! I will try and add more to the translation guide for the main commands latter. Still need to add the manner guide. Especially when using a VPN it is extremely important that we are courteous and well behaved so that we aren't viewed as a danger to the friendly community atmosphere that the game aims for. One persons mistake could also lead to the IP getting banned, so you are putting others at risk as well. Main things are saying thank you when someone cheers you on or heals you.
  4. Hello guys! So I have been working on a translation guide on how to play the mobile game 星のドラゴンクエスト/Hoshi no Dragon Quest/Dragon Quest of the Stars. Not only am i working on a guide but also have a Discord server where we can plan multiplayer quests, discuss about the game, where i post my guides, talk about the series as whole, etc. I welcome everyone to join. The main mission is to bring current players together and have newcomers join and help eachother on quests, using the multiplayer feature. Id like for fans to give this game a try if they haven't yet.   5. Ok, so I made a reddit post about this too; I've been lurking on and off gamefaqs, here and the dqix reddit to try and find an easy and accessible way to get the DLC for Dragon Quest IX. Please forgive me if I'm posting this the wrong way, very new here. So, I'm looking for someone who is Australia based, or willing to ship back a cartridge from overseas to do a Mail'n'tag with me. I'm willing to pay anything under $35 (including shipping) for the extra quests and maybe a MKS map or something. Now, on the high chance that no one is willing to do this with me... I would also appreciate a step-by-step guide on how to get DLC using 3rd party software like an AR or something; with direct links to the products I would need to buy. Also, I should note that I use a macbook air, and the only other computer in my house is a desktop with windows 10 (I seem to recall someone saying that the current NDS adaptor (or something) method only works with windows 7). Also, no EB Games (Australia equivalent of gamestop) within a 10 hour drive of my area has a preowned copy of DQIX that I can check for DLC or anything. Any help is appreciated, and thanks for your time!
  6. Maybe my googling skills are just really off right now, but I cannot seem to find a good guide to the locations of all the scout-able monsters and when you can scout them. I'm currently in the middle of the playthrough and the monster synthesis search on the Den has been a godsend, but neither the "monsters - companions" nor the "monsters - enemies" list has anything listed under the location column. Does anyone know of a guide of where/when I can scout monsters? If there isn't one, maybe we can make one. I have already ordered the physical strategy guide off amazon (while supporting the den ) so I might be able to use that. Edit: Ended up making my own guide using the official strategy guide among several other sites for research.

  8. Just wrote a new tool that runs a rom and accepts input via sockets- allowing easy automation of some processes (for DWM this means a comprehensive breeding guide) so I put the data on my site! I have the raw data (monster list and breeding list) if you'd like it or you can take a look at the page http://nonsoftware.us/tools/dwm/ The way I made the data is relatively simple: I took the source of gnuboy- and modified it a bit to accept external input. Then wrote a secondary program that connected to the source, loaded the most recent savestate, modified a couple bytes (specifically 0xCACA and 0xCACB to modify the monster and the class) then pushed some buttons to initiate a shrine breeding session thing, as soon as the value for the resulting monster changed I grabbed that data and threw it into a csv file- I also grabbed a screenshot using the secondary program of the portion of the screen that the monster portrait lives, then saved that to an image file. Then I used a multi-regex tool to change the csv data to sql statements, put the data on my sql server and connected it with my site!
  9. Now with less Gem Slime and Burning Breath reliance! Because monsters here have fairly high defense it is preferable to use spells. Single target spells such as Frizzle, Zammle and Zapple tend to be the most efficient in terms of MP cost, but are much slower than full party ones. Because of this Spooky Aura is a MUST HAVE with this strategy, once you stack it up twice on the enemy it can potentially double the damage your spells deal. Hargon and Orobas are the only monsters as of now capable of having this skill and are a must have on any team. Mental Claw works out just as well, but costs far too much mana to be useful, also prone to missing and won't work on monsters with their defense boosted by Kabuff. Orobas as it stands is essential for Ovalutionary Road, because of Magic Regenerator. Prime Slime also has it, but not many people use it. It allows you to quickly restore your MP for cheap spells such as Midheal or Zapple, making them excellent candidates. Not only that it allows you to perform a tactic called 'turtling' which means you keep a weak monster alive and just continue to defend while your monster's MP regenerates to full. Now comes the fun part... what would a good party look like? Orobas (#821) - The best monster you can have for this mode. If you throw Midheal on him, he is the absolute king of this quest being able to infinitely heal party members with his MP regen as well as put out a consistent damage with Zammle, Zapple or Frizzle. He also comes with Spooky Aura so I suggest two, or finding a friend with one. I highly suggest putting it as your party leader to help out others and besides he boosts critical spell chance... what more could you ask for? Hargon (#505) / Malroth (#506) - Their stats are much higher than Orobas' they have access to Spooky Aura. I highly suggest dropping Boom in favor of Midheal on this monster if you have it available, just keep in mind they do not regenerate MP like Orobas does. Prime Slime (#556) - If you have it, use it as your leader. Please. It regenerates MP just like Orobas and has a variety of slashing attacks at its disposal. Attack Attacker works excellently against physical attackers like Swingre, Claws and Trauminator. Dark King Slime (#27) - While not as useful as the next two monsters he still has access to Zammle and Burning Breath. It's not suitable for a party leader, but still is a solid choice in the party, especially with Midheal. Armful (#376) - Burning Breath is a very good skill for this mode, albeit you're relying on random chance. It still has access to Kasap which is also random chance, but will allow your monsters to deal good physical damage. Emperor Wyvern (#618) - Emperor Wyvern is a great monster that has access to Burning Breath, it also has access to the high-damaging Hellfire Howl and the ability to counter breath attacks with Backdraft. It doesn't serve much purpose as a party leader, but does pull its weight in the party. Mumboh-Jumboe (#295) / Jugular Joker (#836) - While I don't like the idea of niche strategies, these guys can make the encounter with Trauminator a complete joke. Anything with Artful Dodger gets more evasion with speed boosts, especially against slower monsters making them completely whiff. Tap Dance works the same way, but you constantly need to use it until all Trauminators are defeated. Try to conserve their MP specifically for this purpose. They are not very useful otherwise because of high physical defense. Lightmare (#709) - The best healer in the game hands down. Great for emergencies because of Omniheal and Kazing. While it's not a very good leader to have for this quest it is great to have in your party and a very sought after monster for other quests. Keep in mind other monsters do work out okay, it's just you should have at least 1 or 2 of the monsters mentioned above. Keep in mind I will continue to update this list in the event they add more monsters. --- Now let's take a look at the monsters you'll be fighting in this quest and how to deal with each one of them. Claws (#95) - Oomph, Thin Air, Weakening Wallop Your generic filler monster that does moderate amounts of damage, but nothing too noteworthy. Most monsters here rely on skills to actually destroy your party so Oomph isn't as scary as it seems. Weakening Wallop is another reason why spells work out better than physical attacks, because you can completely ignore it! Black Dragon (#79) - Bounce, Freezing Blizzard Another generic filler monster that does moderate amounts of damage. Try not to have monsters weak to Crack because they will fall quickly. If you're running a party that utilizes spells and Bounce starts to stack up, just wait it out. Disruptive Pulse works just as well too! Armoured Scorpion (#123) - Acceleratle, Kabuff, Zing Highest priority target, it can buff the enemy in addition to reviving them. Get rid of it before anything else. Elysium Bird (#146) - Burning Breath, Multiheal Not many monsters resist paralysis making this monster a high priority. It's even more obnoxious that it heals everything else, but not for much. If you've been utilizing single target spells it won't heal as often. Thankfully it has fairly low HP and will go down quickly. Trauminator (#280) - Falcon Slash, Thunderbolt Slash The biggest physical threat you will find, luckily it is slow and Acceleratle, Kabuff or even Tap Dance can counter it quite well. Try to have a monster with Kazing or carry a leaf for the fight with multiple Trauminators because you don't want to lose to an unlucky crit. Barbatos (#329) - Boom, Inferno A filler monster that does moderate amounts of damage, but nothing too noteworthy. Most monsters are resistant to the damage, so try to keep an eye out for anything on your party weak to Bang or Frizz. Wight King (#362) - Chilly Breath, Swoosh A filler monster that's considerably weaker than Barbatos in damage and health. This is were the turtle strategy comes into play. You will want to guard with all monsters and have Orobas or Prime Slime regenerate their MP to full. Once you hit full MP finish it off and heal out of battle afterwards if necessary. Night Rider (#370) - Kafizzle, Sizzle, Venom Breath Absolutely obnoxious to have in the fight. Not only will poison hurt you in the long run it will prevent you from potentially turtling to get your MP back. Kafizzle can also shut your healers and party down completely. Try to get rid of it as soon as possible unless an Armoured Scorpion is present. Thankfully poison is cured after the battle so you won't need to carry something that cures it! --- Let me know what you guys think of my guide, I've been trying it out and my success rate is quite high. I almost always win with it and it turns something once thought to be unfair into more of an endurance battle. I'd love to know what monsters have been working out for you as well.

Part 1 This is a translation of the alchemy guide from http://ドラクエ10.jp/dq10_renkin1.html While below it keeps mentioning Vase alchemy (Which I could have and may have elsewhere referred to as pot alchemy or jar alchemy) it should also apply to lamp alchemy. First I will introduce how the alchemy roulette works. ■The number of spaces and their type in a vase. There are four types of spaces: "Great Success [ALCHEMIRACLE]" (Yellow), "Success" (Blue), "Failure" (Black), Purple Parupunte [Chance, Hocus Pocus] (Purple). There are a total of 100 spaces, so one space is equivalent to a 1% chance. A "Great Success" will give you an effect like 2 (+3), while a failure give you something like 2(-1). Parupunte will give you a completely different effect then the one you choose. As a default the chances are as follows. ※These are for entry level alchemy(Some alchemy was not confirmed) Times Success or Great Success, Failure, Parupunte First Alchemy 74% 18% 8% Second Alchemy 65% 28% 7% Third Alchemy 56% 38% 6% Each piece of equipment has 0 to 3 ★ and for each★ you can do alchemy on it. ★★★ means you can do alchemy on it 3 times, but your chance of success is highest on the first time, and it decreases each time. ■The relationship between the type of vase and it's number of stars. (Success, and Great Success). Above Success and Great Success were combined but in reality the amount of Success and Great Success is based on the type of vase. Type of Vase / Number of Stars "Great Success percent" Type of Vase ★0 ★1 ★2 ★3 Bronze Vase 10 13 16 21 Iron Vase 13 16 19 24 Silver Vase 16 19 22 27 Platinum Vase 19 22 25 30 The percentage for "Great Success" is the multiple of the combined "Success and Great Success" higher up with the "Great Success" percentage above. To be exact, round up one after the multiplication. For example, if you are below level 10 in crafting and you do an entry level alchemy of "Attack +2" your chance of success or great succesd for the first alchemy is 74% but if you use a Iron Vase★ the chance of Great Success is 74%×16%=11.84% which u ou round up to 12%. ■Other affects on success On top of this when you reach crafting level 10 you get the skill of "Success percentage up 1%" and 1 point of failure from now on will be replaced by a space of "Success or Great Success". ※While level 20 gives 2% increase and level 30 a 3% increase the author has not examined these figures. I did all the character art, plus the slime, but I could easily do the other monsters, too.
