  1. It's nice to have links to these all in one place. I've done a few DW1 randomizers which were a mix of fun and crushingly difficult. Going to start a DW4 randomizer today with some light randomization to it since it has been a while since I last played through it.
  2. Thanks for the topic link. Turns out I was just being kind of dumb and didn't see the releases tab to download the exe and was just downloading the source code before.
  3. I've been bouncing around between a few different games lately. Picked up Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 and have gotten through MM7-9 so far. Also been playing through Ion Fury on Switch as well. I recently replayed Final Fantasy 8 and finished that this weekend. Next I'll be picking up Y's: Memories of Celceta on PS4. So glad it finally got a console release. I'd also like to play Phantasy Star Online 2 but I'm hoping it comes to PS4 or Switch as well. My PC can run it but I'd have to upgrade to Windows 10 first.
  4. It's getting close to 10 years now since I've read through it. I have to say it is one of my favorite shounen manga. It doesn't do anything groundbreaking but it still tells a good story and the DQ flavor just makes it all the more better to me. Can't wait to watch an actual english version of the anime. I do wonder if they'll try and use the same music score as the original or if they will update it with newer DQ songs.
  5. I think DQ7 is pretty good but it does have a couple of issues. I find the story to be quite good but the game is very long and with the way the game is structured it can be easy to start burning out on it by the end. It is worth playing if you really enjoy the series but I wouldn't recommend it as a good starting point.
  6. I've been wanting to check out the DW4 randomizer but haven't been able to find a working version of it. The main Github download is missing the exe to run it so I'm at a bit of a loss. Does anyone know where to find a working version or at least a better place to ask about it like a DQ randomizer discord?
  7. Equipment being expensive is pretty normal for the series. I feel like many games encourage you to pick and choose what you want to upgrade along the way rather than buying the best gear at each town. Obviously you can do this but expect to grind a bit to get the gold you need. DQXI is a lot easier to manage your gold as you can use the fun sized forge to create gear that is on par or better than what you find in shops a lot of the time.
