  1. Thanks for the tip. I'm using Windows 10 Home, and I have the Qualcomm Atheros PCI-E line of Ethernet Adapter, which supports AP.
  2. To my knowledge, you can create a mobile hotspot with a laptop or WiFi enabled desktop, as long as you're directly connected to your router/gateway with a hard-wired Ethernet connection. The Switch then connects directly to the mobile hotspot via Wi-Fi instead of your regular router. So in theory: VPN --> Laptop --> Switch. If you could do a write up as you mentioned, or at the very least direct me to some layman's guides, I'd be much obliged.
  3. My apologies if this is in the wrong place, but I couldn't find where else to appropriately post. I'm an American on the East Coast, and through the JP eShop, I've bought and downloaded Dragon Quest X, and signed up for a Japanese Square Enix Account. I've tried for hours now to wade through the practically encyclopedia length tutorials for setting up a VPN disguised as a Tokyo IP Address, but to no avail. My main question is: does Dragon Quest X have an offline mode on Nintendo Switch, and if it does, how do I access it? I can only ever get as far as Square Enix JP wanting me to buy a subscription, or being booted from the Online portion of the game due to the IP ban Square Enix has in place for non-JP users.
  4. New to the site in general. I'm not terribly familiar with Dragon Quest, but once I saw DQ XI gameplay, I became interested. I've played Dragon Quest Builders for Switch, and am trying to become an avid DQ X player, being in the U.S.A. Read a Destructoid article featuring Cranberry and this site, found here. Happy to become a DQ fan through other means, and thanks to the forum for having me :3
