Interesting Actually, from further research, I'm assuming it could be the Realm of the Mighty. I googled the Japanese name yesterday in image search, and got nothing but pics of DQIX - mainly dungeons or what I assume were grottos. Regardless of whether it is a grotto or the final dungeon of DQIX (Realm of the Mighty), it's definitely... unique, but I can't really say how I feel until I know what it looks like
