  4. Actually from what I can make of the Engrish of Google Translate from the description seen herez: http://game-cap.com/.../tokusei26.html It ignores the attack if it is a critical hit, much like critical miss, though this can also apply to spells and it does not wear off Thanks, 74k. I'll correct Critical Guard's description in a bit..

  8. I don't know if the move ever got a new translation, but it was called HighJump or something like that in DWM1 and DWM2. It didn't get a new translation, Shinryu. I translated it directly (and exactly the same) from its Japanese name, Stealth Attack. EDIT: Removed Stealth Attack/HighJump's explanation. Also, glad that this game is indeed getting an English release. Can't say I'll enjoy the wait, but until 8-14 months later, at least we have a ways to go.

  12. Stormsgate Citadel's Japanese name was "Hell Cloud." Temple of Hatred and Despair must have been a DQIX grotto that was promoted to a monster in this game. A DQIX grotto? Interesting Actually, from further research, I'm assuming it could be the Realm of the Mighty. I googled the Japanese name yesterday in image search, and got nothing but pics of DQIX - mainly dungeons or what I assume were grottos. Regardless of whether it is a grotto or the final dungeon of DQIX (Realm of the Mighty), it's definitely... unique, but I can't really say how I feel until I know what it looks like

  20. Guess I mixed up slanin yellow as the mottle slime-like slanin. I'll make sure to be correct from now on.
  21. You're probably thinking of slanin yellow, which is based on mottle slime. Slanin brown is the rubble slime-like slanin.

  24. This thread isn't going to be active every hour of every day y'know. I mean, yeah, it's a great thing to have this info, but this thread is a drop in the bucket of the active threads as of late. And uh, your definition of dying seems to be off, a few hours of inactivity isn't 'dead'. Oops, didn't realize. Guess I'm just going to let it rot for a few hours until someone reactivates this topic the next time I do that.
