    Dragon Quest XI S is out in a little over a month. I have been thinking for several months on what game type I am going to focus on and I still don't know which one to go with.

      As I understand, the Yocchi Village / Tockle Village bonus quest is only playable in 2D mode. Not 100% on that though.

       

      I was most interested in 2D mode from the start, and was/am incredibly disappointed that the 3DS version didn't get localized. That's what I intend to play first.

      Yes, it's only playable in 2D mode, however I don't know if you have to go to church and switch to 2D, or it automatically switches to 2D when entering.
