    Picked up a new phone today (see ya Keybo, hello Nexus 5!) and ventured a lot with my mom today. Haven't seen her in about half a year, so it was nice. Yesterday I finally got Terry's Wonderland in the mail and was completely overjoyed. The save file on that cart has tremendous monsters in it...I really dont want to delete the file but I'd like to play the game from the start. Ahhhh well we shall see

      Use that one or somehow put them onto another copy. The only thing I do not like about new DQM is that Nokturnus is not jesus anymore :(

      Thanks! Another game I found was the first Ar Tolenico, but didn't pick it up. Shoulda have, it will probably be gone when I go back.

       

      I hear a lot of hate of Suikoden IV. I own it but haven't touched it. Why is it so bad?

      I don't recall specifically, but it is just so different from the others, it's almost another game. Mostly story.

       

      Tesla has the better memory on why IV = bad. I'd send him a PM in case this disappears before he can make a statement.

    Sorry, but I can't agree with you or your mother in-law. That is pretty harsh, just sayian. This. This this this this. I have had a few friends go through major depression swings, 2 of them taking their own lives. It's super hard not knowing how they are feeling or what they are going through to drive them to that madness. I'm sure they never wanted to take their own lives, its still really sad and heart breaking to see it happen.

    Oooooo, have fun playing Mario Party. Which one do you plan on playing? I've actually been replaying 3 lately (trying to beat Story Mode with Mario), and just played 4 last week with my friends for an early bday party/get together. Appropriately, we played on Goomba's Greedy Gala since it was my 21st birthday. I own both 2 and 3, so I'll bring both of those! Also considering bringing Mario Kart and Golden Eye Ha! That is awesome! Good choice Yangus

    I actually have a weekend off. I can finally experience what other normal people do every week. It's so magical right now *pours a glass of sake*. I am definitely going to the Dragon Ball Z movie tomorrow with my best friends and going treasure hunting, aka rare game hunting. After the movie we plan on jamming together while the girls are out shopping and getting pedicures or whatever they do at the mall.     This is a great plus, even if it is just the 2 hours. The trial has been cool so far, runs amazingly on my old warhorse. Its pushed me to keep learning Japanese Eventually I'll sub into this, I'd love to play with all of you

      I've yet to see season 6, I enjoyed season 5 after you get through a couple of episodes.

       

      Still gotta say 3 was one of my favourite seasons :)

    Picked up Chapters of the Chosen and Swords today. Really liking Swords so far! One day I'll tackle these other main numbered DQ games..

      Swords is a fun game. The controls are a bit sketchy, but otherwise a great game.

       

      Chapters of the Chosen is also a great game. I find it lacks a bit of replay value compared to some of the others, but the trip getting to the end is quite nice.

      Yea the controls in Swords are sketchy like you said, but I'm starting to get used to them. The thurst technique is the only thing I have issues with so far..

       

      Not much end game content in Chapters? (Without spoiling anything)

      I stopped bothering with the thrust technique. It was too unpredictable for me.

       

      You can gain an extra party member and there is a bonus dungeon too. But the story itself overall just isn't something you'll play over and over like you would with something like DQVIII or DQV. I mean, it is still a good game and you will replay it a few times.

    I finally put the finishing touches to my 3 course meal tonight for next weekend. Really looking forward to it! Went back to the gym for the first time in a while and destroyed my arms, not looking forward to tomorrow... Also started playing Etrian Odyssey 4 tonight...but I should be playing other games. I have the worst gamer ADD I swear I'll probably stop playing EO once Terry's Wonderland arrives. Get Cards Against Humanity! It will be worth the trip to the shop Platty!

    Fire Emblem: Awakening is pretty good, any of the SMT titles like Motodrafin said, Etrian Odyssey is a cool first person dungeon map making rpg game. I'm sure there is a demo of that on the eShop so check that one out! For Wii U, well your already getting MK8, The Wonderful 101 was a bit slow but still fairly fun for a new IP. Hyrule Warriors will be a great title if your into the Dynasty Warriors or Samurai Warriors games. My big recommendation is Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for the Wii U. You can spend easily over 200 hours playing that game. The starting bit of the game is a bit slow,

      Without AC and a unreliable fan, it gets really hot. Very smoky too due to the Banff fires and other fires going on around here.

    Well look at that! That's an awesome glitch you found there! I'm falling I'm falling I'm fallllllling SPLOOSH! Hey, I can breath underwater! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I could see it having to do with the Emulator your using. I've had a few buggy things happen with other games years ago. (Memory is fuzzy as to which ones) Still, pretty amusing
