It's cold. I hate it. Someone trade my spots :)

I will! :P But seriously, Canada, eh? Winter came a bit late this year. Usually we'd already have built a hoard of snowmen.
Its insane! There was no snow at all during Halloween, it was awesome! We had some sort of Fall weather before the blistering cold came around the corner.

I hear winter is going to be just as bad as last year. Yaaaaaay

  2. Lots of work, its been an insane past 2 months! We did a bunch of renovations to the restaurant and got a bunch of new kitchen equipment. We lost 2 staff members because they were done school and moved back home, so there have been a lot of long days trying to make up for the losses.

We hired three more culinary students so things are starting to settle down :)

Also did Extra Life a while ago, my team raised 1075 bucks! We basically doubled what we raised last year. It was a hell of a time this year!

Yangus i feel for you and everyone els i know some program that dud only air on suturdays but my childhoob has been in ruin for years they do not air any cartoon i watcht as a kid any more worse is that kids theas days almost only watch realety shows and i dont mean like sons of anarchy but those shows that comes from the deeps of hell those kinda shows

Apparently I was part of this conversation before I even knew about this topic.

Anyway, sucks to hear that. I always watched Kids WB, One Saturday morning on ABC, and so as I grew up. I would always tune in to watch Yu-Gi-Oh!, Kirby: Right back at ya!, and Jackie Chan Adventures.

    Jaaaaccckkkiiiiieeeee!! One more thing!!!!

This doesn't surprise me really... Kids these days are spoiled with Netflix and Hulu and probably can't be bothered to tune in to cable TV.

There were so many good cartoons to watch on Saturdays. I'd get up early in high school as well to watch all the cartoons on TV. Super Mario Show, Mummies Alive, Bugs Bunny, Recess, Pepper Ann, Kirby, Digimon, TMNT ( new and old and even that short live action one), Fighting Foodons, Sanic (old and new).... The list goes on and on!

I can now tell my kids that back in my day we had to wait a whole week to see the next episode of whatever show I loved! Ha! Wait....that's sad...

  4. And that is why I emulate.

In most cases, emulation is the best option for sure. If not for emulators, I would have never enjoyed a lot of the classic RPGs from the SNES era. I played a lot of them on my school laptop in Junior High and am pretty grateful that option was there, as my parents didn't buy much for consoles. But that's another story.

I tried emulating DQVII, but I just couldn't do it. It just didn't feel as natural to me. Don't ask me how or why because I don't even know. I know I want to own all of the DQ games one day, maybe that's why. :S

  5. Picked up a new phone today (see ya Keybo, hello Nexus 5!) and ventured a lot with my mom today. Haven't seen her in about half a year, so it was nice.

Yesterday I finally got Terry's Wonderland in the mail and was completely overjoyed. The save file on that cart has tremendous monsters in it...I really dont want to delete the file but I'd like to play the game from the start. Ahhhh well we shall see :)

  6. When I told my mother in law, she said "what a loser". Think I agree!

Sorry, but I can't agree with you or your mother in-law. That is pretty harsh, just sayian.

Unfortunately, mental illness is the kind of thing that will strike anyone regardless of how famous you are, how many fans you have, or how much you're loved by your family. He's been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, he struggled with alcoholism, and apparently he's been battling depression. Though it might be hard to believe someone with his kind of life would ever have feelings of depression, it just goes to show mental illness can affect anyone.

There are other alternatives, but to be in the kind of place mentally where you can't see them or deal with the world anymore surely what he must've had to go through was incomprehensible.

This. This this this this. I have had a few friends go through major depression swings, 2 of them taking their own lives. It's super hard not knowing how they are feeling or what they are going through to drive them to that madness. I'm sure they never wanted to take their own lives, its still really sad and heart breaking to see it happen.

I actually have a weekend off. I can finally experience what other normal people do every week. It's so magical right now *pours a glass of sake*.

I am definitely going to the Dragon Ball Z movie tomorrow with my best friends and going treasure hunting, aka rare game hunting.

After the movie we plan on jamming together while the girls are out shopping and getting pedicures or whatever they do at the mall. Then most likely playing Mario Party, ruining friendships, having some drinks, cooking up some great food, and having a blast.

Oh Demo you said your going to college? Where are you heading to?

I missed the topic, but I do agree with the whole living on campus situation. You get the full college experience if you do so, which may be different for some. I think we got drunk every day the first week before classes started, and partied hard every weekend after that. It probably didn't help that I roomed with 2 Criminal Justice students, those guys are notorious for the biggest and baddest parties. Even got into a fight with a few when they tried crashing my birthday party at the dorm I was residing in.

    Gooooood times.

Oooooo, have fun playing Mario Party. Which one do you plan on playing?  I've actually been replaying 3 lately (trying to beat Story Mode with Mario), and just played 4 last week with my friends for an early bday party/get together.  Appropriately, we played on Goomba's Greedy Gala since it was my 21st birthday. :P

I own both 2 and 3, so I'll bring both of those! Also considering bringing Mario Kart and Golden Eye :)

Ha! That is awesome! Good choice Yangus ;)
