I've been thinking about do the bonus stuff in the GBC version. III is one of my favorite games ever and I just got a Gameboy player for my Gamecube so I won't have to stare at the 4 inch screen anymore.

The gameboy version is one of my favorite games of all time too, so much nostalgia for beating Zoma for the first time. I hope if they remake DQIII full on they include all of the great stuff the GBC version had.

I am enjoying Dragon Quest VII a lot so far, though I do feel overwhelmed hearing it takes 100+ hours to beat.

The remake trimmed 7 down a bit but it is still far longer than it should be. Small mechanic fixes would solve that issue but this is Squeenix after all

Seriously, I spent over 30 attempts and over three hours trying. I have nightmares to this day.

I have a few times. If I weren't so lazy I would resume that file and continue to grind until I had one of every monster at the max level with the best equipment as well as all humans at their best.

@Jaybird, the version we got for Joker 2 was literally unfinished, like Joker 2 Professional, what they got in Japan, was far more complete and expansive. Shame we got a version even Dragon Warrior Monsters 1/2 for the GBC are bigger than.

VII is more similar to the Zenithian trilogy than VIII is. Get VII!

I dunno if there's a Zenithian trilogy "style'" of storytelling, but VIII doesn't have the overarching mythic hierarchy common to games of that era.

If you hae a second copy of the game handy, keep in mind that tags are based on the system. So if you swap the cartridges, you can tag again

jay, I could be wrong, but I believe that it tags both the system and the card, so swapping the cards wouldn't work. However, you could do what I've done and transfer your Zenith Dragon to your main slot, and then reset the second game and transfer it back, then you just have to play through the game again. Should be easy if you move your powerful monsters over. Not difficult, just time-consuming.

Making Rigor Mortex will take a while

You can see the colour hues being duller for all cross-over equipment in V.

So it's not the Zenithian equipment, the entire world is getting duller and more tarnished. Fascinating.

Better if you have multiple Duplic Hats (2 at least, one for Milly, one for Nevan).

Also save lizzie for his last form so you can use c-c-c-cold breath also having your hero the hero class helps with the hp bonuses, as long as you have nultiheal on nevan and milly you should be fine.

I was ranger just to fill out the flames in Dharma.

I just got Lizzie because I forgot about her, so it will be slow to level her up. I am currently trying to get the metal king equipment for someone.

DQI-III characters would be able to destroy contients, potentially a planet. I calculated the size of Torland actually. It dwarfs Earth.

DQIV-VI characters are all universal.

DQIX is planetary to star level
