    I beat Zoma in Dragon Quest III. Best part is I finished him off with Kazap from the Hero, which is pretty fitting. Now gonna go up to fight Xenlon.

      The gameboy version is one of my favorite games of all time too, so much nostalgia for beating Zoma for the first time. I hope if they remake DQIII full on they include all of the great stuff the GBC version had.

      My favorite anime currently is Saint Seiya, which is from the 80s.

       

      Overall I have shifted to being a fan of Wakfu though, which is not anime.

    I got Dragon Quest II, III, and IV for Famicom. Then I realized the Retron I could not play Famicom games :(

    I'm going back to finish the 3DS version of DQ7 lately and I really can't tell if the slow pacing is my favorite or least favorite thing about the game

      Same thing, I love that feature, but staying at level 17 20 hours into the game feels tiring

    Has anyone finished the bonus dungeon TnT board in Dragon Quest V?

      I am dissapointed that I cannot finish the board. I have 100% finished Dragon Quest IV, and pretty much done with DQVI (Just got to class grind and get the rest of the Slimes), yet I cannot finish V.

      I wish Joker 3 comes out, it is obvious we will never get the masterful Monsters Remakes, but Joker 3 is not totally out of the question. Now if only they give us the Professional Version as the US version.

      @Jaybird, the version we got for Joker 2 was literally unfinished, like Joker 2 Professional, what they got in Japan, was far more complete and expansive. Shame we got a version even Dragon Warrior Monsters 1/2 for the GBC are bigger than.

    So I spend 6-8 months not playing Dragon Quest 6, then I started playing it last night at 9:00 pm until 2:34 am and now I'm hooked. It's a difficult yet simple strategy to get me to play Dragon Quest 6 for hours.

      Dragon Quest VI is a great game, you should have fun. My favorite part is probably around the time your underwater.

    I had a dream where me and the rest of a DQ party were entering an early-game dungeon, and one of the enemy types (moles of some sort?) was as weak as you'd expect, but had a Zam-like spell that for whatever reason did over 200 damage to each character.

    Picked up DQV for the DS spent the whole day looking for a place that sold it. Finally going to finish the game now! I had started with the SNES version.

    Beat Foo Yung and Chow Mein armourless in DQ4-DS yesterday (around level 58). Wasn't very bad of a fight, but when Kiryl was confused and casted Fullheal on Foo Yung..

      I just got Lizzie because I forgot about her, so it will be slow to level her up. I am currently trying to get the metal king equipment for someone.

      Mireya (Milly) is a sage

       

      Chamaro (Nevan) is a sage, he mastered paladin also

       

      Hassan (Carver) is a gladiator, currently training as a beastmaster

       

      I want to spam multifists, but I am too busy healing from the second form to use it. Once I get to use it Mortamor spams his strongest abilities

      DQI-III characters would be able to destroy contients, potentially a planet. I calculated the size of Torland actually. It dwarfs Earth.

       

      DQIV-VI characters are all universal.

       

      IDK about DQVII/VIII

       

      DQIX is planetary to star level
