Sorry for the lateness of my reply. Thank you for all the tips, i did start using critical miss. So it was no longer a roll of the dice, waiting for the hit to come. Now ive got myself all the monsters i lost, with there defense boosts.

Since i misplaced my original copy of the game, i had to start again on another... {Miss my trauminator} the scroll i particularly need is priest, the problem with that is the night clubber you have to steal it from. I assembled a team of 2 lootist monsters both level 50. Then in order to assure that they didn't get wiped out I got a Metal king slime with: Defence 3/Defence 2/Martyr I used selflessness in order to shield my looters from harm. However why does that night clubber land so many critical hits? does it have hopeful hitter? Gale Bolg? Since its critical hit does land around 220 on my Metal king. It usually gets wiped out. I know normal clubbers have: Last Word/Giant Killer But Eugene's? Anyone know? Added Traits? Or even the drop rate for that scroll? Id go online and get a scroll but there certain technical problems {Prefer not to reveal} Thanks to all that reply.

I can answer some of those for you: Lost katana: You need to go to the dark world and find killing machines. they will either drop it on rare occasions or you can kelpto clobber one until it drops one these aren't exactly to easy to obtain, but try enough and you should have one. Metal slime sword [ or metal king sword im assuming ]: Is dropped by metal king slime's. These arent exactly hard to find after you beat rigor mortex. since you will be probably training mostly in the world of light where there are thousands of MKS. Diablo spear: i haven't seen this in the game. Probably isnt in this dragon quest. But im not the greatest player out there. Perhaps it is in the game... Somewhere... As for the scrolls all of them can be obtained without wi-fi but you will have to still them of Eugene Poole. he has 5 teams of different monsters In each of these teams there is one scroll. The problem is that once you beat one of his teams you will never see them again. [ except for his last team with the ultra slime ] in order to obtain more than one scroll of him, You will need to lose and re-verse him again. Im not exactly sure which monsters of his team drop the scrolls but the scroll warrior can be obtained anytime from the demon at arms at necropolis and the [ sage i think?] is renewable since his final team always stays the same. Anyways good luck and i hoped this helped!

The dragon family has always been one of my favorites. Although i dont like the fact that there alot of swords in the game that just demolish the dragon family... and the fact that there not that hard to get.

What is your favorite monster? im not just talking about the strongest one you like, i mean as in the one you truly favor, Is it something about there appearance you like? There attack animations? even there personality.. do you like that one because its cold-hearted emotionless killing machine? or because its a cute thing too look at? For me i would choose: Over-killing machine i like it because it reminds me of shockwave from transformers and it has a nice color to it. I like some of its animations and most of its appearance is stunning to look at.
