So apparently this editor is supposed to work on the SNES Dragon Quest 3, but I can't get it to work for some odd reason. Does anyone know how this is supposed to work?

I don't know, I usually play a lot more Battles Under The Tough Seas than Trails in The sky, but I guess people have different preferences.

As someone who played the heck out of the playstation version of Dragon Quest VII, I was a little bit disappointed with the fact that they gutted the puzzles in the ancient fane and made an already simple set of puzzles more simpler (like connect the dots simpler). The cave with your boat was also removed and had it's own place as I discovered when doing my item collecting before turning in for bed and Hondara's Hot Stone was taken by Kiefer just to name a few things.

One thing that has always bugged me was why games like this have never been released to the west at the same time as their regions release date (or released to the west at all). I feel that there are way too little RPG's being released these days that I am getting quite starved for one. But then again, that's just my opinion. What do you guys think.

They seriously better not dash my hopes for a western version of Dragon Quest 7. I mean, they released I-VI already, so I would be dissapointed (even enraged) if they would release all those but then just said "nope, were breaking that cycle". Square Soft would be rolling in their graves if they were still around though IMHO.

My first RPG I ever played was Final Fantasy VI. It is what hooked me to the RPG Genre and VI was my favorite (along with Chrono Trigger, Shining Force and Phantasy Star). If I would have to choose though, I would buy them both and love them equally. Final Fantasy IV and Dragon Quest IV each had their awesome stories and DQIV to me had an advantage that you could choose your gender (like you could with DQIII) which was pretty awesome to me at the time. During my RPG adventuring years, I tried out FFIV and I also loved the game, it had a good battle system, the character story was good
