    I asked the question if they'll keep the Sweet Bag and Golden Puppet from Dragon Quest X in the English Streepass dungeons because I would love to see what Sweet Bag's official localized name is so we can recruit them, thus being the 8th DQX monster to have its localized name revealed, the 2nd reincarnated monster to be added, while the Golden Puppet would be the 9th DQX monster to have its localized name revealed.

    What and where are the others?

    The others were Type G0, Sliver Swordsman, Little Elf Sanguini, Chocolate Golem, Goregoyle, Peekabogre, and Liege Lizard. Every one of them expect Type G0 appeared in Super Light. Cause Type G0 reappeared in DQ Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below, and did it again for the sequel, but with more DQX monsters like Blackhood (The Hammerhead monster wielding the same club as Spiked Clubber), Darkspirit/Dollar Maju, Elder Tree (Reincarnated Treeface), and Red Bodkin Archer.

  3. Gamespot delivers a video of IGN playing DQ7.  Wow, times have changed.  Cool.

    Demon Lord = Demon King

    Yggdrasil = Great Tree / Ygg

    Elf Girl = girlchild

    And very interesting monster name intel. The Winged Tree is now known as Monolog, the WarTiger is now known as Caper Tiger (Which would explain why the Weartiger doesn't reappear in DQ7), and the ApeBat is (obviously) known as Batboon.

  4. Aluse= Auster

    Gabo = Ruff

    Melvin = Sir Mervyn

    Aira = Aishe

    Matilda = Mauve

    Ruins = Shrine of Mysteries

    Fishbel = Pilchard Bay

    Rexwood = Ballymolloy

    Engow = Emberdale

    Orph = L'Arca

    Falrod = Faraday

    {Memorleaf} = Wilted Heart (I don't remember the PSX translation of this one, I've only got my 3DS in front of me.)

    Dharma Temple = Alltrades Abbey (Who saw this one coming? LOL)

    Mezar = La Bravoure

    Sim Town = The Haven

    Monster Park = Monster Meadows

    Bard = Troubadour

    {Devil Hunter} = Monster Masher (Again, I don't remember the PSX translation...)

    Deja Sword = Sword of Roamers

    There is a monster class called "Kingfuschia", but I don't know what monster this refers to.

    I know some of these have been noted before, but I was watching the E3 footage and saw some new stuff. I haven't finished the video yet, so I might post more later, but I don't have time right now.

    I think I know what you're talking about. It's the Florajay from Dragon Quest Monsters, isn't it? One of the monster classes in the game.

  5. I haven't had any contact from her for a while hence why the DQMSL ones aren't linked either.

    The Southeast Asia version monsters, I presume?

    Thanks to Mimas for sending me a video of 908 monsters from Dragon Quest X (I think she said she was missing 2 was all so far). Since there isn't an official translation of Dragon Quest X and there is no book number value, they are just numbered as they show in her monster list.

    Dragon Quest X Monster List

    Huh, neat. Can u have the monster wiki person make sure to put the new images in by their respective places? (I.e, Slime with Slime and Drackmage with Drackmage.)

    Why don't you add them yourself? With how my vi you care about the bloody monsters of this series, I'm sure if you contact the right people they would give you access to working on the wiki.

    You know, I just might take you up on that. Could be good

  7. After a pretty shitty day I came home to this book.

    It's pretty rad. Gorgeous cover and packaging (it comes in a pretty solid slipcase). I really like the cover artwork too. On an amusing note, the DQ8 hero looks like a girl.

    If you like DQ4 and 5, it's got a lot of stuff. Artwork from all versions, a lot of the monsters. As they are two of my favorite games, I'm diggin' it. Sadly not much for 6.

    Content wise, I think 8 has the most. Maybe 5.

    DQ11 "section" is kinda funny. It's literally just a sketch of the hero.

    A lot of the monsters, u say? Interesting. I recently just wrapped up collecting DQ 4 monster art from the Joker 3 V Jump Break World Guide, and DQ 5 monster art from the guide mentioned above as well as remnants of DQ 5 monster art from DQM2 Magic Marvelous Key first guide. I also had the honor of collecting other monsters like Plated Goretoise, Bullmustiff, and many others like Infanticore. I would love to see what u and Dwaine mean by that.

  8. It has come to my attention that there is confusion on the Dragon Quest Wikia saying that Mandrake Mercenary was originally named Springer, when in reality it was originally named Dragon Man. In fact, the Orgodemir version of the Mandrake Marshall resembled the previous monster so much that when both of these monsters reappeared in Dragon Quest X, the Mercenary kept the Marshall coloration while the Marshall itself had the old colors darkened to differ it. I hope the Den members can pass it on to the DQ Wikia editors. Thank u.

  9. I don't mind. The Dragon Man's modern name is Mandrake Mercenary and another modern name for a DQ7 monster is Mastermine. So I'm totally looking forward to this game and seeing what other Orgodemir minions get modern name changes. The more the merrier! :)

  10. Well, the monsters that SHOULD have been out by now/later are: Orgodemir: Slemperor, Shield Ogre, Great Merman, Horseman, Moosedon, Thuggular, Metal Drake Slime, Steel Demon family etc and Nelgel/Madesagora: Night Cat, Gaia Dragon, Blueberry, Evil Tree Ent, Pumpkin Kid, Pig Hat family, Smiling Lizard family etc. Those folks at Garena should get the bug problems done and over with, maybe take a risk.

  11. I know exactly what ur talking about. Balzack in his Night Clubber form, Baalzack. It was sort of weird that they would bring back the event. Also, tbh, I emailed Garena about the lack of new DQMSL content and I haven't gotten anything back. I'm pretty sure they're trying to fix the bugs so the new monsters' English names can reveal themselves to the Western DQ fans.

  12. I hear your plights. The constant errors from the game is what is delaying the Steel Demon, Esterk, Great Merman, Horseman, Shield Ogre, Slemperor, and other monsters like Thuggular (Even though nobody got him early). I would love to have to have the errors fixed so we can see those monsters and also new ones like the Cat Island map, which has a Nelgel and Madesagora minion, Night Cat. And also, nobody didn't obtain Taurix and put him in the monster list, right?

  13. Okay, so I've made some major updates to the spreadsheet tonight.  For starters, it now has the Perks and Leader Perks for most monsters on the list, taken from the list here at Dragon's Den.  Thanks Woodus!  The spreadsheet also now has Filters.  When you're looking at it, click on Data from the menu just under the spreadsheet's title, then click "Filter views...".  From there you can choose to reorder the list by monster name, skills, or perks.  This way you can find your monster without knowing its Big Book # or see what monsters have the perk or skill you're looking for.  I even added some color to make things lively!

    That's the good news.  The bad news is, this is probably my last update.  I've gotten pretty tired of this game these last few weeks.  I finished the main quests long ago, I made it to Arena Rank 7, and I've stopped getting monsters worth leveling from the tombola.  Between that and the lack of new content, there's really nothing more for me to do.  That's why there's no new monsters this update - I just haven't been playing that much.

    I'll keep checking the game for new content for a while, but I won't be searching Pal Provider lists for new monsters until there's a reason to start a quest.  Sorry about this, guys.  Final Fantasy Record Keeper kept me entertained for half a year, so I was hoping this would too.  Guess it's not to be.

    ...doesn't mean I'm quitting the board, though.  I'll still pop in when I feel it's necessary. :)

    What a shame.  :(  I hope u find some new DQMSL content for the summer
