In the following video, you can see battles, exploration, and the voice acting demonstrated in the early versions of the English release.
The voice acting sounds really good.
Hmmm, I'm guessing King Carnelian's cruel attitude is due to a certain evil demon lord and the Dark One is the god. Loving this scene, though. Can't wait for September 4th. The 3DS version may not come to America, but the Switch could combine both PS4 and 3DS. And now those Madesagora/Nadraga minions days are numbered!
QuoteVelsaco: Know this, Lightlings. Now that I have found you, your days are numbered!

I've been looking for this Mortamor minion, which reappeared in VII through Traveller's Tablet stuff and there is a seal that has artwork of this monster. If anyone you know or one of you has this, it would be nice. Please note the following image is too small, so I'll post this JPN text: ■10071 じゃしんぞう

Eh, I'm still sure that they'll announce XI at E3 this year, cause the SE Booth is bigger than last year. And no matter KH3 says, DQ XI will not be killed.

Well, now I feel old.
Is Swords any good? I've never even looked at it.Swords is decent. It had Drackolyte and Mermaniac for the modern and returning DQ audience before the names were revealed in the mobile remakes for I and III, and had voice acting before the Heroes games and other games brought it back to the forefront.

The Heroes series has given me a special hatred of Silvapithecus monsters (whose name-pun I only just discovered after doing a Google spell-check), which are obnoxious to the extreme and interrupt me to no end when I care about other matters.
Heroes II also has a new, blood-red Uberkilling Machine boss-like enemy (whose name I forget) that has killed me at least twice now and is really pissing me off. That would be the Crimson Killing Machine. Still waiting for its second main series appearance to be localized, though, because of a zone attack it can do with Durandal.

Testing embedding video with winky55's video
Thank u. I was just showing the video as a reminder of Verison 4 monsters that need to be seen more instead of using other monsters that already reappeared/debuted in X one way or another.

For 4.1, they introduced the Buddhist Circus, (A foreshadowed monster if any of u had been to the Dragon Quest Museum when it first opened 2 years ago.), a new Skeleton expansion for the first time since Seoul Viking, Spitnik (Thus, confirming our theory that Square did a pull a Satyr on us, although that Joker 3 size looks nice.), Wyrtle, a reinacreted Great Sabrecat, which is only way to get the book to recruit the Great Sabrecat itself, and a new Picksy monster in that dungeon where the Japanese masses that play the game fight Jamirus and that cat shows up. While this monster selection did restore the way I envisioned it, with one Zoma minion gone from the still pending monsters list for X, I'm thinking that Square Enix needs to get serious about not using the same monsters from other version updates to intimidate players. While it does give rise to some monsters that need reappearing, they also need to have more from where that came from so players would have a fun time playing the game and getting closer to the Version 4 villain.
Current Status Now:
Zoma- Lump Mage and Tentacular
Psaro/Estark- Splatypunk, Crack-Billed Platypunk, and Terracotta Warrior
Nimzo- Mandrake Marauder, Hyperpyrexion, Hyperanemon, and Thwarthog
Mortamor- Mottle She Slime, Mottle Mendslime, and High Djiinks
Orgodemir- Bird of Terrordise and Mandrake Monarch
Rhapthorne- Blood Mummy, Solaris, and Crocodog (The middle mention done properly this time.)
Corvus- Cruelcumber
And just to show what I'm talking bout

With no trailer, no info beyond the localized title, and no news on which versions we’re getting? No way will it be April/May. Summer maybe. Fall more likely.
You could say that. DQVII and Dragon Quest Builders' PS4 version did get released in Fall 2016. I don't know bout an announcement at this year's E3, though. But it's my thought alone and I'll just take it with a grain of salt.

I can see DQXI being released during the April/May Spring of this year, or the summer. When PS4 and 3DS versions r announced, the Madesagora/Nadraga minions that reappear in this game (With a couple more added in the 3DS's DQ I-X worlds.), will be ours! #DQXmonstersfortheWest

An error in terms of an Orgodemir minion being named the same as another monster, despite having different kanji, was the Bone Fish being renamed Dread Herring, despite the fact the name was already given to a Mortamor minion. This is the reason why my organization has an embargo against this monster until either it or the DQVI Dread Herring gets a name change. (Hence why last year's E3, I made this amazing poster and it's also on my Twitter account). https://twitter.com/wilyg9/status/870237938382241793

Gameinformer had a nice little DQ XI preview in their most recent issue. I just wish a release date came along with it.
Can u provide a look of what it's like? I tend to recycle my Gameinformer magazines, and I need to see those localized names, monsters or otherwise.

Nah. I'm using a vpn to play it.
It's coming out for PC too so who knows? I don't think it's too likely though.
Maybe it might come out in English. However, it will most likely be next year, and when it does, expect to see Milly, Camus, Martina, Pankraz, Fuser, Pavo, and Ann-Luica have English voices, and a bunch of DQX monsters to have localized names: Ice Dracky, Tatari, Mad Finger, Evil Trent Tree, Karakuri Shogun, Keseran Emissions, Haunted Tomato, Nail Witch, Mekameow, Queen Slime, Berufegoru, Buruberino, Icespirit, and Seoul Viking.

For Version 4 monsters brought back, they had the Prism Peacock, Terrorhawk, Platypunk, 2 monsters that were expected, Tyrantosaurus and Berserker, along with another monster introduced in the Joker games as a reincarnation, Dessert Demon. However, there's no sign of the Spitnik, although there is a thought they're pulling a Satyr earlier in the game's run, where it was going to reappear at the start of the Version 2 saga, but got pushed back to 2.1. The Mecha Dragon monster that is first seen as a boss has more than one of itself, as seen in a factory dungeon, yet never shown at d-quest-10.com. Regardless, the DQX team for Verison 4 monster implementing is starting out small, but working their way through the rest of them, 13 weeks at a time.
-
Turns out they're bringing back the Terrorhawk during today's DQXTV, so now the waiting for Nov. 16 is only 10/9 days away.
-
I know they addressed Wight Emperor and Master Moosifer, and even added in Sconstrosity and Dark Phantasma, which reappears in XI. And now, Platypunk, Spitnik and Prism Peacock r reappearing in X, with a subtle hint towards the return of the Wishmaster and Corvus Hell's Gatekeeper, so now IV, VIII and VII (Even though the Prism Peacock debuted in DQM) get an increase in pending monsters. 2 (Crack-Billed Platypunk and Splatypunk) for IV and (Terrorhawk* and Bird of Terrordise) VII, and 1 (Solaris) for VIII. But I'm pretty sure u guys know that.

I don’t know how she did the coding for the monsters
Oh yeah. Forgot about that.
I will see if I can figure it out, or if you want to take a look at it I can dump the list out to Excel.
K, I'll wait for the figuring out.

I have uploaded the monster list images to the Den.
http://www.woodus.com/den/games/dq11/monsters.php
I think this is the whole bestiary, but since I haven't completed the game I don't know if it contains all end bosses. The images are just numbered for now until we get the localized copy.
So don't check out the list if you don't want any spoilers.
I can easily recognize most of the monsters. Slime, Dracky, Drackolyte, She Slime, King Slime, Drackyma, Bodkin Archer, Cruelcumber, Weartiger, Cheater Cheetah, Golem, Loss Leader, Infanticore, Green Dragon, Walking Corpse, Ghoul, Corpse Corporal, Toxic Zombie, King Cureslime, Metal King Slime, Hunter Mech, Killing Machine, Type G0, Zumeanie, Moosifer, Gryphon, War Gryphon, Dark Gryphon, Stump Chump, Stump Grump, King Squid, Tentacular, Squidzilla, Bubble Slime, Liquid Metal Slime, Cannibox, Mimic, Pandora's Box, Mud Mannequin, Magic Marionette, Gold Mannequin, Gold Golem, Stone Golem, Liege Lizard, Dancing Devil, Tap Devil, Caped Caperer, Bunicorn, Spiked Hare, Slime Knight, Metal Slime Knight, Little Devil, Very Devil, Toady, Toxic Toad, Overtoad, Prestidigitator (III), Leger-de-man, Hocus-Poker, Abracadabrer, Manticore, Franticore, Chewlip, Smog, Miasma, Gnashturtium, Deadnaut, Chasmonaut, Balhib, Bilhaw, Wizened Wizard, Old Man of the Sea, Drohl Drone, Drohl Diabolist, Lump Wizard, Lump Mage, Lump Shaman, Merman, Mermaniac, Merking (III), Shell Slime, Seaslime, Jargon, Dragurn, Bobonga, Shade, Shadow, Silhouette, Umbra, Skullrider, Demonrider, Cactiball, Fandangow, Mecha-Mynah, Clockwork Cucco, Robo Robin, Dread Dragon, Blue Dragon, Barbatos, Master Moosifer, Living Statue, Stone Guardian, Great Keeper, Bodkin Flecther, Bodkin Bowyer, Grinade, Rockbomb, Bomboulder, Troll, Boss Troll, Stout Troll, Drake Slime, Dragon Slime, Metal Dragon Slime, Metal Dragon, Mechan-o'-Wyrm, Dullahan, Dark Dullahan, Hell's Gatekeeper, Flython, Diethon, Sail Serpent, Cyclown, Spinchilla, Whirly Girly, Platypunk, Splatypunk, Crack-Billed Platypunk, Hypothermion, Hyperpyrexion, Hyperanemon, Pteranodon, Chillanodon, Terrornodon, Dragon Rider, Dragooner, Muddy Hand, Bloody Hand, Metal Slime, Healslime, Medislime, Cureslime, Ursa Minor, Ursa Major, Wrecktor, Whackolyte, Archbashop (Since X's 3.4 they're becoming more prolific in monster armies like Nadraga, the unknown Version 4 villain, and Urnogas'), Knight Errant, Knight Aberrant, Knight Abhorrent, Fire Eater, Ice Breaker, Doom Slugger, Gloom Slugger, Overkilling Machine, Uberkilling Machine, Crimson Killing Machine (Thank u Dragon Quest Heroes II), Wight Prince, Wight King (The good old Nimzo version.), Skelegon, Dragon Zombie, Cyclops, Gigantes, Orc, Orc Chieftain, Orc King, Jowler, Prowler Jowler, Dark Sabrecat, Silver Sabrecat, Tantamount, Godsteed, Equinox (XI finally making this half of Zenus a normal enemy), Flamethrower, Blizzybody, Skeleton Swordsman (III), Armful, One Man Army, Night Clubber, Pruslas (Turns out he has identical duplicates of himself as normal mooks since DQII's post game and the beginning of the end for DQX's Version 3, first 3.5 to be exact), Great Dragon, Black Dragon, Ethereal Serpent, Boreal Serpent, Infernal Serpent, Restless Armour, Infernal Armour, Lethal Armour, Crabid, Crabber Dabber Doo, Handsome Crab, King Crab, Garuda, Hades Condor, Elysium Bird, Phoenix, Stark Raven, Raven Lunatic, Chimaera, Hocus Chimaera, Cosmic Chimaera, Hood, Hoodlum, Heavy Hood, Hammerhood, Brownie, Funghoul, Morphean Mushroom, Mushroom Mage, Man o' War, Khalamari Kid, Squid Kid, Lips, Kisser, Smacker, and Scourgette. U just need to add the names to the list and put the monsters with their respective pages on the Wiki Database, and it's all good. Ciao

I saw a movie about that 2 years ago called Project Almanac, before we got the bob-ombed Super Light localization and Dragon Quest Heroes 1: The World Tree's Woe and The Blight Below. The movie had some fun moments, like the protagonist's sister getting revenge on her bully, and one of his friends getting the science class thing right after some failed attempts, until the dark revelation that a plane crashed and the time traveling had some ripple effects. It's also a factor in Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, where XI's hero used it to save Veronica and turn the tables on Homer's OP dark orb protection, although defeating Urnoga (Madesagora, Nadraga and whoever the Version 4 villain of X's successor) early, allowed the true villain Nizzelpha to regain his body and once again rule over the world with an iron fist. So time travel may be fun, but it has dire consequences which I'm just going by those alone.
-
Yes I would. I'd love more Nelgel and Madesagora/Nadraga minions that didn't make the cut for XI, and a different name for the Orgodemir Dread Herring, since that name was already used for a Mortamor minion. I'd picture a localization announcement in December, just like Dragon Quest Heroes II.
-
Oh boy! Time travel!
... I think.
Yep. The Chekhov's Gun of Dragon Quest X, to see what Asotilla looked like before Nelgel, Madesagora and Nadraga became dangerous threats.
Version 4 is set to release on November 16, 2017
PV
I remember seeing that dark knight escape from Nadraga's world before the big illusion of him disappears, so I think that dark knight is most likely the Greater Scope Villain of Dragon Quest X.

Don't worry. I preordered the DQXI PS4 SE-Mook Guide off of Amazon Japan with Amazon points, and it's come for me and my organization in two weeks.
And the 3DS guide will be all ours, just to pick up a better Darth Voodoo image, Tiger Jackal, and the Side Winder's new look.
Switch version definitely PS4 version
in Dragon Quest XI
Posted
Put in the 3DS content, and some new blood, like Ursa Mega, Cheeky Devil, Chappy Akure, Emmissions Alchemist and other monsters that were left behind.(From their families) Maybe some new monsters, kinda like how the Switch port of Builders got the Great Sabrecub to ride or die.(Helping the Builder get around Alfegard quicker, but what I mean by the former is monsters that didn't make the cut for XI, like Skeletons, Badboons, Babygoyles, Frylings, Crones, Teeny Sanguinis, Urnexpecteds, just throwing out names/possible ideas.)
