  1. Remember : Buying titles from EBay does not support the publisher, and in the case of older titles, they could have bad batteries. Emulation keeps retro titles alive!

      True, but I'm against emulating over a perfectly purchasable and playable game.

      Plenty of games that were never released in the US. Even I have bought VC content for my Wii and 3DS, and PS1 classics on my PSN. But can I buy Seiken Densetsu 3 for the SNES? Sure! A Japanese copy, or a $60 repro that -might- work. Emulation keeps older games alive. Especially the ones long-gone.

      You sadly did not grow up in the retro era. Yeah, there was a game era in the early 1980s, but the NES, SNES, Genesis, and so on. There are -so many- games that you can't just "get again" that easily. And no, it is not that easy to replace a SRAM battery. :P It's possible to FUBAR a $60 game you got off ebay pretty easily.
