  1. I'm currently dying from too many games but that's because I'm 100% against buying used games, so I always buy day one PS3: Dragon's Crown, Ducktales Remastered, Hatsune Miku Project DIVA F, Killer is Dead, Tales of Xillia 3DS: Animal Crossing New Leaf, Final Fantasy Theatrhythm, Fire Emblem Awakening, Mario Kart 7, Project X Zone, Shin Megami Tensei IV Thankfully I can play ACNL with my GF (she's the reason I bought a 3DS) and strangely enough she loves Killer is Dead, even when you are picking up girls and seeing through their clothes.
  2. Unfortunately for me I'm not a big MMORPG fan, so I'll just patiently await for DraQue VII to be released in the west.
  3. Hey GA, nice to see you too. Yeah I hadn't been in the collecting loop for a while now. My ex-GF sent me some and my other friend had to go to her sisters wedding and got me some. As for DraQue, I haven't played it in well over a year I'd say.
  4. hey guys, it's been quiet some time and I just wanted to share this with you. My GF went to Japan in May to visit her family and brought me back this, amongst other things From 2 boxes we managed to get one complete set and it was down to 2 toys left and missing 2 to complete the set...so intense. I'm gonna say Zoma is the rarest because not counting palette swaps I got at least one dupe of each character otherwise except him. I've been looking for more but it's almost impossible to find them at a reasonable price (especially the 25th Anniversary set). I only have three from set 10 and four from the 25th Anniversary set. My GF found a box of Dragon King Appears for around 4500Y on Amazon and they only had one left so we ordered it, I'll be sure to post pictures once we receive it.
  5. if its marlboro smooths i might have to come and rob u............. no joke...... Ah a fellow Smooth smoker. You sir are a gentleman and a scholar. I smoke way too many of them on stressful days at work. I am thinking of picking up the Dragon Quest 25th anniversary with my tax return. Anyone got any clues about how to play the disc in a US Wii? Playing the trailer for DQX is okay, but I got a blank screen when I tried to play the game, so I just downloaded it to my HDD and played it off there. Honestly, even if you buy games it makes no sense to kill your Wii's laser when you can have the convenience of every game you own on one HDD and faster load times.
  6. my addiction is actually Red Bull...usually 2 cans a day (the limit). You can buy 24 cans for $40.00 though from Costco which is hella cheap when compared to stores.
  7. very flawed. I'm a smoker but I only smoke one or two cigarettes a day which amounts to 60 cigarettes a month which is 3 packs. To add on to that I never buy cigarettes in Canada, I either get friends to bring them from Korea and/or Japan. If I was forced to pay for those cartons it would only be $20.00-$30.00/10 packs but most of the time it's free. Smoking can be very cheap if you are smart about it. I've been smoking all 2011 and I've only had 3 cartons from Korea and 1 carton from Japan. I currently have 5 packs left from Korea and 9 packs left from Japan which will last me into Q1 2012
  8. What series is that? I bought a box in July 2010 of Series II and I got the complete Liquid Metal Slime Armor character. I might ask one of my friends to send a box of them over if they are still releasing different series. I believe every box has one complete secret character, it can't be a coincidence we both got one.
  9. I've noticed the same thing with Super Mario Bros. figurines. They sell similar ones in Canada that are slightly larger (same pose) but the paint job is complete crap. You'd think it would be harder to properly paint a figurine that is 4cm tall but apparently the Japanese just take a lot more time to do it instead of releasing garbage. This is why none of my figurines are from Canada.
  10. Hawk ã“ã‚“ã«ã¡ã¯ã€€ãƒãƒ¼ã‚¯ã€‚ ãŠã’ã‚“ã ã§ã™ã‹ã€‚ ã‚ãªãŸã®ãªã¾ãˆã¯ã€€ãªã‚“ ã§ã™ã‹ã€‚ text book Japanese FTW ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ I just wanted to help a bit with his studying, anyone studying Japanese should be able to answer that easily.
  11. ← picture English name: Mark Korean name: 진건 (Jingeon) Birthday: July 1st Gender: Male Height 178cm (181cm with shoes) Weight: 72kg Blood Type: B Nationality: Canadian Background: 1/2 English 1/2 Korean Languages: English (fluent), Japanese (moderate), Korean (moderate) About Me: I smoke around 2 cigarettes (not packs) a day, I am overly concerned with my appearance before leaving the house and overly conceited in general, I am a fashionista, 90% of my friends are girls, all my female friends say I'm a sweet talker and that's why they love me ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹, I am a huge KARA fan (Korean idol band), I know absolutely nothing about English music, I have only one native Canadian friend, I can read and write hiragana, katakana, and hangeul...but I hate kanji/hanja/Chinese characters My Korean is better than my Japanese. I've learned both from dating girls and just having many friends of that nationality...you'll pick up on it eventually and it's a lot more fun that way.
  12. I love Dragon Quest but I love Super Mario equally. All these are from Japan with exception to the 3 DS games. I was so addicted to Furuta Choco Eggs...
  13. if its marlboro smooths i might have to come and rob u............. no joke...... ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ not to digress but my preference is Bohem no.6 (exclusive to Korea, made with 30% cigar leaf) and Seven Stars. Since Bohem isn't sold in Japan I'm getting a carton of Seven Stars (12mg each, but damn good)
  14. The only reason I was rushing to get this is because the 1:1 mini medal was only available with the first press release of the game. Much like they do with CDs in Japan. An example is one of my favourite bands KARA release 3 copies of their CDs on the first press release (DVD, Photobook, Bonus Track) but after they are sold out they just sell the regular version and the first press releases shoot up in price.
  15. a lot of the items in the brochure that came with it are outrageously priced even for a DraQue fan such as myself. I MIGHT have more to share soon though, one of my Japanese friend's friend is coming to Van for a few weeks and is supposedly bringing me a carton of smokes and more DraQue blind box toys.
  16. Oh $#!& were you serious man? ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ I had no idea, I thought you were just playing around
  17. 'sup GA? It's been a while I know...over a year I guess? I opted for asking my friend because to be honest...the market for DraQue isn't that big in North America (or anywhere outside Japan for that matter) and I can't see them translating all of them again just to release here, it would be nice if they did though.
  18. I actually know quite a few Japanese girls who love Dragon Quest and love those boxer briefs, but any other girl (mainly my GF) would probably burst out with laughter if she saw me wearing them. And just a funny tid bit for all you DraQue fans. I was talking to a Japanese guy and we were talking about games and I was like "I guess I'm a bit of a nerd because I really love DraQue" and he replied "oh, DraQue isn't for nerd or otaku, DraQue is for normal people." ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ I guess that's true because some of the girls I know who like it, that is the only game they play.
  19. or got arrested? ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ but I'm not American so I couldn't even enter
  20. Are you...ashamed of us? Seriously though, I've never met you but from this post I can tell I will be very, very jealous of you... I actually rarely spend time online to be honest. I used to post here quite often back in mid 2010 while I was working in Korea but since then I've been busy. I finally had something to share with the Dragon's Den community though so I came back. Best boxer briefs ever (although they are uncomfortable, I wear boxers)
  21. Mark is my English name, 진건 is my Korean name. Actually my Japanese GF knows I've had many GFs since we dated (we broke up over 1.5 years ago) but we still keep in touch. For my birthday she sent me Slime Boxer Briefs (blue with a giant slime face on the ass) and another Dragon Quest Crystal Monster 10 blind box toy. 99% of the time I date Korean girls (I'm mixed) but my Japanese friends always call me by my English name because they can't pronounce the 어 noise. oh you said my new GF ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ she doesn't know I post here ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
  22. Today has been a good week. I finally got a hold of DQM2 Joker, got a new beautiful Korean GF (completely unrelated ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹) and my ex-Japanese GF sent me a gift in the mail. Having connections in Japan is so useful and I love her so much. Do note that the Ice Colour Slime and Pirazu Nyan key chains are from the Dragon Quest Crystal Monster 10 Collection (Japanese blind box toys) that she just happened to send with them.
  23. Maybe it' an Asian thing because I work in Korea and a lot of girls in the elementary school I work at sound similiar to the animes, they don't sound older than their age.
  24. The actress who played Sakura in the Nelvana dub was around eleven years old at the time of the recording. which even further goes to prove my point that a Japanese girl in her 30s can do a more convincing 10 year old voice than an 11 year old. Because Sakura didn't sound anything like her age.
