  1. Murdaw was definitly tough as nails. Feels like he should have been after Alltrades Abbey. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  2. Unless my package arrives early tomorrow, I won't be able to show proof of purchase until a week later cause I'm going out of town tomorrow. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  3. I recall that poll about DQ7 mobile. I would buy it, of course, but I honestly don't care if it comes or not because the 3DS version did come and I have since heard some of the features I enjoy so much from the 3DS version are removed from the mobile version for some reason. 4. I managed to beat him with little trouble using the LMS & Forebearance strategy. Even got another Liquid Metal Mind off of him. The Mortamer fight after that was hilarious. I was totally getting some DBZ vibes off of it. Also went back through a checklist and found the 3 mini medals I was missing. Found 2 pretty much immediately because I kinda figured I was missing those, but that last one was the 7th to last one on the whole list. Not much else to do in this game now besides stat maxing, item farming, and getting 13 more Liquid Metal Minds. Think I will pass on all that. Time to shelf this game. 5. I believe V is the only one with permanently missable monsters and I believe only 2 of them (both are ocean monsters that are also somewhat rare in the 2nd generation that you are super likely to miss unless you specifically hunt for them) For DQIV, the overworld changes from chapter to chapter but the early game dungeons don't (unless the plot calls for you to revisit it later, I can't recall any dungeons like this off the top of my head though). I don't believe any of these are missable. As for DQVI, I think your only concern would be the few dungeons you can't re-enter when you finish up the plot, but I don't believe there are any monsters that are only found in these locations. Literally no where actually changes the encounters like the other 2 games though. DQV is the only one I have actually researched this stuff on, but I have completed all 3 books, minus filling out the loot tables (that's just tedious) Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  6. It's been a long time coming. Like over 8 years, considering I bought it on DS launch day. I got super side tracked by the desire to grind out vocations. That's a problem I also had with DQ7, I just felt so underpowered until I had a chance to grind them out but then I didn't know when to stop, so I mastered then all .. That caused the hiatus. But holy crap that ending and subsequent credits roll had me feeling like crap. Ashlynn became my favorite character so I was really feeling the implied ship there with the MC. This was the first time a DQ game gave me a melancholic ending. I thought it was a great game over all, even if the challenge was all over the place, favoring the difficult side, but that ending tho. Even the post credits scene did little to make me feel better about it. After I got over it (I'm not crying, YOU'RE crying!) I went into the bonus dungeon just to get dominated by Nokturnus. Is he supposed to be the strongest entity in the whole entirety of Dragon Quest? Sure felt like it. Reckon I'll try him again with LMS/Paladin strats soon. Repear's Peak was pretty cool. I knew what was up there so I saved before hand so I could see them all. Despite 4 being my favorite of the Zenithian Trilogy, I thought the 5 version of Repear's Peak was the best (then again, anything with the best waifu of all time, Debora, is the best). I guess after I take care of Nokturnus I can move onto the last 2 games in the main series I haven't beaten, 8 and 11. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  7. Hopefully this is sufficient? My real name is at the bottom (pretty sure I've used it instead of my display name several times, haven't I?) If not let me know and I will come up with a better effort Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  8. This is probably the first game I've ever thought the North American box art was actually better than the Japanese box art in a totally unironic way. Like that art is really good. I seriously hope it makes it onto the Switch version's cover. Who knows if it will though. DQ Builder's art isn't the same as the PS4/Vita version's. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  9. A little late to the party but, here's my proof of preorder. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  10. This work for ya? Bonus foot. Also sorry about not getting this in before the release date. I couldn't find my pre-order receipt, so if this doesn't count for that too then I understand. Also as a PSA, make sure y'all obscure or use your pre-order code before posting your picture of your receipt. Mine is already used up so I'm good. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  11. Seriously, does this official website's use of the US localized name of "Fortune Street" hint at a localization or am I reading into it too much? It says it's for the Chinese version but still, the use of Fortune Street baffles me. https://store.playstation.com/en-th/product/HP0082-CUSA09572_00-ASIAPLACEHOLDER0 Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  12. Had it since launch. Been lazy about posting this. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
