  1. Hi all, First off I'd like to say thanks in advance to Cranberry and Mimas (through Cran) for attempting to help me out with this issue I'm having. Long story short, I polished off the game while I was cooking my dinner yesterday and as the credits came to an end I skipped the text, saved the game, closed my 3DS and finished cooking. I'm currently using a Blue Apron-like service, and it's excellent, and gets you excited to cook, which is why I wasn't paying attention. Anyways, I skipped over the code, and only realized once I was eating that oh no, I was supposed to get a specific game completion code to unlock a nice gift, and potentially to use in DQ X to unlock the fifth item in the game. This shows the game completion save file. Now I didn't start the post game content on this save, I did that on another save, and without spoiling anything, once you trigger the post game there's no going back. This save however is prior to that, but saved directly after the credits so the boss is no longer there. Interestingly enough, upon booting the game, going to a church and copying that code and then entering it on the 3DS, I am taken back over 20 hours into the past!!! Clearly I don't want to have to repeat 20 hours. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to challenge the final boss again, or if there is somewhere that code may be within the game itself. I've searched high and low and can't find anything. I went to the Mini Medal Academy and watched the credits again, however they end just before the code would be given (great suggestion Mimas, thanks!). I can't imagine Square-Enix would design this in such a way that you only have one shot to get the code or it's gone for good as accidents like the one I did are sure to happen. If anyone knows if there's a way to get the code, or somehow challenge the boss again before entering the post game, I would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thanks for reading Update: Ok so I progressed in the post game and now have access to an entirely new boss and oh boy I'm not ready to tackle this guy. The good news is, there's an awefully good chance beating this dude will trigger another ending. Hopefully that will give me access to that code again. I'll update if and when I can beat it.
  2. Hey guys, I'm assuming the Japanese version of Super Light isn't exactly the same as the Thailand version (i.e. no English language option I'm guessing). I tried the gift code I got with my copy of DQ VIII and it didn't work with the Thailand version. It's also a shame you can't use Paypal while on iOS as I don't own an Android device so I suppose I'm kind of screwed. I didn't expect I would enjoy this game as much as I have been
  3. Just went and picked mine up. Got the Square-Enix e-Store version, which came with a code for 3 Genki balls for DQ X, a cane item code for DQ VIII, and of course the classic sword item code. Oh and this awesome plushie you see here Not the best pic, but super excited to revisit this classic game.

  6. Yeah that's exactly what happened, and I did indeed change my email several times. From what I can find online though, the error code I was getting from the Square-Enix site said that suspicious activity could lead to a forced authentication for security purposes.
  7. Not my collection, but it just arrived today and I couldn't be more pleased. I've owned Dragon Warrior VII since launch, but I held off on purchasing the 3DS remake until I had myself a Japanese 3DS, for obvious reasons. Well now that I purchased the New 3DS, well yeah, it's about time I get to experience this remake
  8. Hey all, I had this issue with the beta, and I searched around but haven't been able to find precise instructions on how to get kana to show up on my PC configuration menu. I have Windows 7 Professional, and haven't been able to install a Japanese language pack so I'm going to assume that's my problem. Does anyone have pictures translating the configuration menu? The version I found in this thread is outdated as my menus don't look the same as the ones shown here. I can post pictures later tonight if need be. I'm trying to play in full screen at 1080p 60fps, but thus far I can't figure out how to stop playing in windowed mode, and don't really want to screw anything up Thankfully the resolution and framerate have been self explanitory.   9. Truly guys I don't know what's going on. I was on the beta day 1, even did a series of videos on my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFZDhjvvVmauHHVZaJFu9s3noH6GCdkXZ) about it. I've been importing from Play-Asia for over a decade, and haven't had any issues with PayPal, Play-Asia, or anyone else. I don't have a clue why I would be having issues with any of these companies, let alone all of them. I did a few eBay orders over the weekend and all of those were fine, so I’m really at a loss. I tried ordering something from Newegg to test my PayPal account via a store purchase and it worked perfectly, so the problem seems to be wrapped around Play-Asia and Square-Enix. Keep in mind I also contacted my bank and PayPal, and in both cases they said everything was fine on my end, but that Play-Asia were refusing the funds on their end. When I contacted them they said their system had flagged my account, but didn’t offer an explanation as to why, or why they couldn’t reset the account. Rakuten was an easy one to explain, they refused my Canadian credit card, and they did the same to two of my friends who tried to help me out. I did some research on the Square-Enix error I was getting and found it could be due to IP changes made on this account, which would make sense. When I played the beta I used to get ‘suspicious activity’ warnings all the time as SoftEther would drop my IP and assign me a new one, thereby causing me to have to reset my password. Apparently I could gain full access to the store by using an authenticator, but that would be a whole other issue actually getting one. I didn’t mean to publicize what you’re doing for me Ashes, I thought it would be my way of saying thanks. Hopefully once all of this is done then I’ll be good to go, especially now knowing that WebMoney works. I would like to give a heartfelt thanks to absolutely everyone who has tried to help over the past two weeks. It means a lot, and because of the community’s efforts I can now play DQ X for real this time. While the trial was cool and all, it’s just not the same
  10. Yes it sure is. It's the account I play the game with. Ashes has said they can hook me up and it would seem that's the only way I'll be able to purchase the game outside ebay. At least the Crysta can give me several months of gameplay so it's not like it's going to waste.
  11. Alrighty folks, here's what I've done exactly. I login with my Square-Enixxxx Japan account, find the All-in-One package, add it to cart, select Crysta as payment option, click the "agree to terms" box and select next. I then get an error code. I've tried different browsers, clearing cookies and the cache, privacy modes, and VPN to Japan, absolutely every option gives me the same error code. Here is the payment option I'm using. Here is the error I get when I'm done with this portion: This doesn't make any sense to me as this should automatically go through. Do you know if there's something I'm missing here? Is there anyone fluent in Japanese that could shed some light on this? I'm SOOO close, it would suck to have to import the game via eBay or somewhere else given I now have 10,000 Crysta. Thanks to everyone who has tried to help since I decided to give this another go.
  12. Yeah I shut the PC down, connected via a VPN and I still get that error when trying to buy the game. Really confused right now. Google says its restricted, but no idea what that means. I've tried a dozen times and that's always the code I get, VPN or no. What did you do?
  13. Hey all, So my buddy was able to get me 10,000 WebMoney, which I then converted to Crysta. When I go to this link: http://store.jp.square-enix.com/item/SEDL_1023.html, sign-in with my Japanese Square-Enix account, and say I want to pay with Crysta, I get the following error: ã‚¢ã‚¯ã‚»ã‚¹é ‚ã„ãŸåœ°åŸŸã‹ã‚‰ã®è³¼å…¥ã¯ã§ãã¾ã›ã‚“。 Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Google translate essentially tells me that there is restricted access to this product. It's a fairly straight-forward procedure so not sure what's up.
  14. Nope, I cannot use Play-Asia ever again. Essentially their system flagged my account for suspicious activity thereby permanently banning all my payment methods. I asked if they could simply delete my account and I would create a new one, but they said they couldn't do that. So essentially this is where my quest comes to an end. I'm going to get a friend of mine to see if he can purchase the WebMoney for me and just send me the code. I'll buy the game off eBay and pay some outlandish price, but it's pretty much the only option I have at this point.
