    Monster Hunter has taken over my gaming time once again. Having lots of fun with Generations Ultimate with my Hendrik file.

    I’ve been enjoying MH Generations Ultimate a lot on my Switch again. It’s been fun doing the Hendrik file I created, making all his Palico companions into DQ11 characters. I’ve color coded all of their fur, and my main hunting Palicoes are a white and gold one named Jasper and a purple one named MopTopMo. With all the puns Palicoes, Felynes and others of their species love mixing into their speech, it’s fitting to name them DQ characters!     Been visiting the other villages in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. I really like how you get to visit ones from past games like Pokke Village from Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Each village having a different excuse why their game’s original player Hunter is missing was a funny touch. Helping out each village opens up a lot of new quests to go after in different areas of world, and it’s cool to see how Capcom updated these explorable lands. The snowy mountains near Pokke Village looked great, especially with the new touches added to the icy caverns inside the mountain.

    Boy, it was a bad idea to play Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate after finishing Luigi’s Mansion 3. I’ve really gotten back into the series as a whole again because of it! World was alright on the PS4, but I was not a fan of some of the changes, so going back to a classic styled Monster Hunter game feels so much better. Nothing wrong with World by any means, and I still enjoy it, but it had some questionable design choices. Anyway, getting back into Generations Ultimate feels great. There aren’t a lot of PSP games I want to buy, but there are a few I would still like to get for my Vita if possible.

    Minecraft Steve is live in Smash Bros. Ultimate, boys and girls! He actually has a really fun moveset. People might be mad about this character, but I’m having a great time so far.

      I still keep my ground that people care more about the characters rather then what they bring into the game. I don't care for Steve either. Not that big into Minecraft. But he did bring a lot of new things into the game in terms of unique gameplay. It isn't something to be upset about.

      I mean. For crying out loud. The game has Dragon Quest representation as is. One series you like got attention. You can't get everything on your wish list in.

    Had today off from work so I decided to try and finish off Luigi’s Mansion 3. Floor 14 was short but a fun time and floor 15 had some tricky elements to it. The battle with Hellen Gravely was really annoying, but I did like how it incorporates elements from some of the other boss battles. Figuring out how to stun her was the worst part. The final battle with King Boo was fun though. Figuring out how to avoid his attacks and using Gooigi to help was great, and thanks to doing a bit of the online multiplayer I found that fighting Boolossus there helped me with fighting King Boo in the main

    Made it to the 14th floor in Luigi’s Mansion 3. The boss of floor 12 was difficult and I had a heck of a time getting half of the gems on the 13th floor. Seems like I’m almost to the end of the game as the 14th and 15th floor are all that remains. I’m guessing there will be one more floor to deal with King Boo or Hellen Gravely, but we’ll see. One thing I’m coming to hate are the objects that get stuck in the Poltergust when using the suction to try and grab money. It’s usually soccer balls, watermelons, or something else that causes it (or a Toad when you have to escort them) and it gets

    Luigi’s Mansion 3 continues to be a great game. Floor 8 has been my favorite so far thanks to its ghost, Morty the movie director, and because of the puzzles that came with it. I’ve enjoyed the thinking some of the game’s puzzles have gotten me to do. There have definitely been some tricky ones thrown in that made me stop and think, especially when trying to get some of the colored gems. Currently on B2 now and plan to keep on playing tomorrow. Very fun and well designed game, that’s for sure.

    Started replaying Bloodborne last night. Felt like a good night to get that started. The opening cinematic and main menu music is still so good and sets the mood perfectly. I’m definitely rusty at playing and could tell I was getting frustrated at my dumb mistakes, but it was fun. Fought the Cleric Beast on the old bridge in Central Yharnam and that was a fun fight. Close one too since I chose the Threaded Cane as my starting weapon. Might try playing this game one night and Luigi’s Mansion 3 the next night. Keep some variety going with these Halloween time games.

    Got Hero, King K. Rool and Joker in the mail today. This did happen though when I opened the box... Joking aside, the detail is very good on all three of them. Not sure what I’ll nickname Joker. Only thing I can think of is calling him Crow and using that color palette. Naturally the Hero will be MopTopMo because of course it will.

    I have thought about getting one of the Pokémon Let’s Go games. From what Platty told me of his playthrough and seeing the game in action from people I watch on YouTube it seems like an interesting take on a Pokémon main line game. It’s not something on the top of my list of games to get, but it still seems interesting.

    Reminds me of my goal to get 9.9 in Classic Mode with everyone in Smash Ultimate. There were some really difficult paths for characters, and then with some characters I’m not good with...oof. Best of luck with your challenge, eal.
