  1. Hopefully by July this mess clears up -- BUT, Amazon Japan normally uses DHL for international shipments. They are still operating normally. So unless something horribly wrong happens, this release shouldn't be effected. Unfortunately I have two items on buyee that, despite being on EMS, are stuck for the forseeable future.
  2. Yup. Through DOSBox. I grew up with these on an Apple IIc that was in my room growing up. For some reason the emulator's auto-detect on how many cycles this games needs is very off. It runs like you are using the fast forward on SNES9x/zsnes/etc. It's very playable, it's just anything that has more than one frame animates very heckin fast. I set the emulator to a forced number of cycles, it fixes Ultima 3, but then everything else runs slow. Ultima 6 takes like 3 minutes to even start.

finally was able to get the shiny Charmander I got into a Charizard in Go yeeeeeaaaaaaahhh looks like I got the Charmander in December, but yeah
  4. Had a nervous breakdown... uh, Wednesday or Thursday, I don't know. All days are the same now. I was emotionally dead for an entire night. Much better now thankfully. Cleaned up my room and my car too. Spring cleaning I guess, refreshed the soul. I think there's an unspoken harm in this pandemic in the mental health of people. Thankfully it's something Telehealth can do better than a physical ailment. But with people losing jobs, they lose the insurance and well, that's a no go. I'm in an essential industry, so my job is still operating normally, but for those that are getting furloughed or worse, it's horrifying.
  5. Aside from Seiken Densetsu 3 remake playing a lot of Ultima 3. Honestly getting nowhere in the latter. The food grind early on is a struggle.
  6. Trials of Mana / SD3 remake I wanted this since 1999, and was always afraid if they remade it they'd do a Lufia II DS remake type thing to it but dammit, they got it very right
  7. mandatory mask order goes into effect tomorrow morning in Maryland they gave me one when I had the flu earlier this year, but I took it off after I left the exam room and no one said anything... I was suffocating with it well, good thing some just arrived today
  8. ^ thats good news in lieu of all of those who are losing their jobs. It's really scary.
  9. bad tbh I've dealt with anxiety and depression since I was 12, and the anxiety/obssessive side was relating to disease and germs. Years of therapy helped... It was like this: "You need to get out of the house and stop washing your hands so much". Now: "Stay the hell inside and wash the hell out of your hands" 😩 At least work is kinda letting up a BIT *knocks on wood*
  10. So I've been up since like 5:30 still waiting to eat breakfast/coffee due to two companies blowing up my phone and email Best thing is the kitchen is a few feet to my right (I set up in the living room for multiple displays) this pandemic thing has gots to go
  11. Wait. That last sentence. That needs more explanation! Subtweeted a post from a Sailor Moon fan profile in October of 2018, she commented, it went from there. Distance is a factor, but we're not that far apart and see eachother a lot, but the virus has complicated that for now. Proposed last October, her birthday. Still working on the rest, but right now we're just trying to stay healthy
  12. they might, never thought they'd get Evangelion but yeah I don't like Netflix's model though, they put a whole season out people talk about it for a weekend then bam! forgotten anyways I have this preordered, might cancel though. The pricetag is not bad considering prices of other series. like 26 episodes of f'n Fate will go for like 300$ on Bluray. This is the entire series + movies. It's a pretty big event too. This is a ***Dragon Quest*** anime that has not been in print since the VHS days in Japan. No DVDs or anything until now.
  13. yes but the compression made it very fuzzy so I replaced it with Acerola. I've been on work from home for 3 weeks. I've been *working* about 85% of that entire time period. Not the normal 40hr shift. But all of the time. I am getting two companies set up to shift operations remote. This has been 95% successful, thankfully.... but I am exhausted. I live in a city, all kinds of lockdowns in place, all the restaurants are only doing carry out or closing up... some permanently. as far as my time on twitter... yeah no. I just cant anymore. too many egos. complete distortion of any kind of reasonable discourse on really anything. I quit. I met my fiance there that was the high point.
  14. I'm somehow alive but I need a vacation. I miss this place. Too much twitter has screwed with my brains.
  15. Well, I finally did it... I landed a huge new job. The pay difference is more than 15K, and I'm finally not on some kind of service desk/help desk/call queue. 6 years of struggling have hopefully paid off. I started the day after Labor Day.
  16. I know I haven't been on much but... Tomorrow might be the biggest day of my life in the past few years, if as a whole. Part of the reason I haven't been active like I was back in the day was my life was taken over by an incredibly stressful and time consuming job. A job that I spend 9-10 hours a day on, and got paid peanuts. Even when I get home I so stressed out I can't muster up the energy to do much anything I used to enjoy. I have an interview tomorrow morning for a job. It is a major financial improvement, environment improvement, life improvement, you name it. I match it on virtually every bullet point on the job description, and I have 5 years of experience where it wants 3. I'm in final consideration along with 2 others... I've risked my current job to do phone screenings, send emails back and forth and make cover stories. I'm going in late tomorrow too to make the interview....
  17. Been job hunting for a week so far. Apparently getting my first offer tomorrow morning. Have a few interviews for the next few days so I'll have to wait and weigh my options. I guess the three years of stress of where I am now kinda pay off.
  18. "Square I've waited since 1998 for SD3 can you toss me a bone" Square Enix: "say no more"
  19. Well Seiken Densetsu 3 is finally in the west. Waited 21 years to say that. I'll be picking it up physical when it releases in August.
  20. This game is getting a HD version on Switch. I'm interested. Does this game have any post-game content to explore?
  21. I saw it too. Best movie I've seen in years I loved it. It got me really excited for the upcoming Mewtwo movie.
  22. Checked out the series a few months ago and have been playing it and Wizardry a lot since. Pic is Ultima 3, I'm chilling with Lord British. There's a Famicom/NES version of the game that is very accessible to JRPG players. I think the games have aged pretty well tbh. As far as Wizardry, I remember when I first picked up Etrian 1 I thought it was the most unforgiving thing I've played. But this is just plain evil. When you go to resurrect there's a possibility a character can be turned to ashes instead. And that's happened to me on EVERY res attempt.
  23. Hi im still alive lots of stuff changing in my life. Some for the better, some not so much. I try to focus on the good nowdays though anyways still playing video game when I can muster the will. Ultima III Exodus is a really good game, play it if you can. You can kinda see where the Dragon Quest spark came from
