  1. That is unfortunate. Maybe I could reproduce them by eye? I have a pixel art program that I'm pretty handy at myself. I think I could pull off reproducing them.
  2. I can’t remember if the SNES version had the bonus dungeon or not. Is it as complete as the GBC version?
  3. Sounds great! I’m really looking forward to DQ3 on SNES with the official translation.
  4. Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone ever ripped the character sprites from the mobile ports of the original trilogy. As you may know, the games are basically the same as the SNES versions of the game, except the sprites of all the party members have been updated to look more like the sprites you see In DWVII and all of the DS remakes. I couldn't find the new sprites anywhere, would appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
  5. Is there any update on injecting the English script into the SNES version? Very interested in this project.
  6. Wow, Dragon-Warrior.com is actually a great little website. Who owns that?
  7. I will not tolerate shade towards Hyperdimension Neptunia. DQXI is just a pale imitation of Nep Nep.
  8. Me when playing DQXI: D4B82CF9-0445-482B-A63D-CA468E5558D7.MOV
  9. Dude, that is crazy. I always felt bad after that Dragon’s Den TV show popped up and stole the spotlight. Hope this balances that out lol.
  10. Dragon Quest Builders is one of my favorite spinoffs lol. It’s a love letter to the first game, there’s little not to like.
  11. If we’re talking mainline, DQVI probably. Spinoffs included, Swords for Wii takes this one.
  12. The only remarkable mobile ports are the remakes of the first three games because of their new graphical style and the DQIV port since its actually finished this time around. Other than that, DQV, VI, and VIII are all basically the same as their original version. Heck, VIII actually removes the Symphonic Suite I believe, but just imagine having VIII on your phone. Thats crazy.
  13. Or you could legally dump your own Japanese cartridge you bought.
  14. I mean, it shouldn't be that hard now that we have a version of the game already translated right? Its mostly identical to the console version, couldn't we just dump all the dialogue from the Steam version and just stick it in the 3DS version? Would that work?
  15. Yeah I've taken a look at the files myself as soon as it downloaded lol. There's a Data.pak file right there! Its about 22 gigabytes large. I just have no idea how to open the darn thing. WinZip doesn't seem to work on it. If anyone has any idea how to unpack these kinds of files let me know. We could literally be seconds away from importing the symphonic suite. Also if any of you guys got the Edition of Lost time, we should try to do a lossless rip of the Symphonic Suite soundtrack CD to use in the mod, because that would be better quality than the MP3 on the web.
  16. Since we’re on the subject, just how many fan remakes of DW1 are out there?
  17. 24 sounds about right. I think it’s been dropping a bit in price lately. I saw it for twenty the other day. Didn’t buy it because... Lol, I’ve spent 15 on some of these and as much as 27. It’s kinda rareish.
  18. Yeah I saw that. It’s pretty cool, though if he could get the shading and 3D areas like Octopath that’s be crazy.
