  1. It's out. (Unless you live in Japan, you can't download it this way) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.square_enix.android_googleplay.dq8j Sometime today or tomorrow I will PM you guys the dl link for it. It's a 1.4GB game.
  2. The reason why katsukity's capture cards takes that long to ship because they have a high volume of orders each day, and not that many staff. These are coming from Japan, and sent by EMS Mail. Shipping preperation is the longest, while the shipping itself is 3-5 days. http://www.3dsvideocapture.com/product/25 <----- the one I ordered.
  3. I just ordered my Japanese 3DS LL with capture card. Should be in the mail in 4-5 weeks. Looking forward to capture video for you guys on this game and others as well.
  4. I will send you, and others who are interested the apk file through PM only.
  5. I paid my capper who lives in Japan so he can buy the game on his android, then patch it and upload it for me. I will record gameplay through a screen recorder app I have, then upload it to YouTube.
  6. Power Up Competition Rules: (my interpretation of the google translation) Now that you can equip weapons to your monsters in online Wi-Fi tournaments, things get more interesting from there, Wait... there's more. Depending on if you equip a weapon, and your monster's behavior in battle, all this effects the judge points you get after the final round. Judge Points are a new element to Wi-Fi battles in this game. Transferring monsters from DQM Terry's Wonderland 3D to DQM Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key: An application on the Japanese eshop will be available for downloa
  7. Normal Edition: http://www.play-asia.com/dragon-quest-monsters-2-iru-to-ruka-no-fushigina-fushigina-kagi-paOS-13-49-en-70-6vfx.html The price is very fair for a new import video game from Japan. Buy from Play-Asia, they've never let me down. I've had no custom fees, or stuck in customs with any item from there. They're very reliable. The reason why the online multiplayer Wi-Fi has the USA flag on there is because they know some people in the USA will have imported this game. Same from any other country because the Wi-Fi stuff isn't region locked. You can play any of the DQM 3DS games o
  8. New info for the game released today: http://www.famitsu.com/news/201312/01043785.html The new info is about the wifi stuff. The regular edition is the game by itself. The special edition is the DQM2 3DS LL with game. DQM2 3DS LL with DQM2 game: www.play-asia.com/dragon-quest-monsters-2-iru-to-ruka-no-fushigina-fushigina-kagi--paOS-13-49-en-70-7991.html
  9. Translation by bluesun (from Pokemon-originals on irc) of the Famitsu article. Raise strong monsters through training and combining them Making your own party by befriending various monsters is one of the pleasures of the "Dragon Quest Monsters" series. And to create a strong party that can win many battles on your adventure, you can't forget about combining them--merging together monsters to create new ones. About monsters' strengths Monsters that you befriend have various status information, such as "HP", "MP", "Ability" and so on, and these vary for each monster. The
  10. Actually my plans have changed now. I will be getting an original Japanese 3DS with capture card pre-installed in December, then will get the game on release day.
  11. Btw, the release date is actually February 6, 2014, not January 30, 2014. that website you linked to that gives the release date is wrong. replace the link with this one. http://www.siliconera.com/2013/11/04/dragon-quest-monsters-2-set-february-along-limited-edition-3ds-xl/ a translation of the flying ability or whatever from the official website... "In certain locations, you can move in midair. It almost looks like you're flying." So you can't really fly freely everywhere, just in certain areas.
  12. I just pre-ordered the DQM2 3DS Special Pack from Play-Asia with 1-day shipping. I know it's going to take a big chunk out of my wallet, but it's worth it. I'm going to be using my Galaxy S3 (Got it a few months ago) to record gameplay. Just to let you guys know, a few days ago, an article on Famitsu revealed some more new system mechanics to the game. http://www.famitsu.com/news/201311/21043250.html Translation by bluesun (from Pokemon-originals on irc) of part of the Famitsu article. New Feature: Try forging weapons at the "Blacksmith" Having friendly monsters equip weapo
  13. So far from how far I'm at (Dune - Past-), the changes are for the better for the most part.
  14. Dragon Quest VII - Eden no Senshi-tachi (3DS) --Immigrant Town-- credits for the script translation go to bluesun, kewl0210, and sushi (some friends I know on irc) After completing the Direluck Town story, you get access to the immigrant town in the present time. Go there on the map. Once there, you'll see a girl named Tia. Talking to her is the first step. You won't be able to recruit people to the immigrant town until you do her little quest. Note: Tia is brand new to the 3DS version, and doesn't exist in the PS1 version
  15. Here I will be compiling a list of changes made to the 3DS version of the game. * The number of the same item you can have in your bag has increased from 50 to 99. *The stairs leading to the old man's house (the one you give the ancient scroll to) is now on the bottom left hand side of the map instead of the top right part of the map. * The Pearl Orb that was in the well in the PS1 version is not in the 3DS version. It has been replaced with a Tiny Medal. * You remember in town during the part when Hondora is sleeping in his room, and you can get the Hot Stone from him? It's no
  16. as of 7:00am PST (USA) February 6, 2013 --12am JST (Japan) February 7, 2013 the digital version of Dragon Quest VII 3DS is up. You can use foreign credit cards in the Japanese eshop. Will update this post when the unboxing video is complete. Should be up within a hour from this posting. EDIT: Done, and done! Enjoy this digital unboxing & some gameplay video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lC1zip-GJZA
  17. Funimation is well known for licensing anime from Toei Animation, such as Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Toriko. Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken (Dai's Great Adventure) by Riku Sanjo & Yuji Hori, has spawned 349 manga chapters in 37 Tankoban Volumes, and 87 chapters made into 46 anime episodes, while the rest is manga only. If Funimation brought it over to North America, it would bring in a fresh new set of fans who never heard of this manga/anime series before. This series would seriously be bringing them money, which I'm surprised after all this time it has never been licensed in english spe
  18. Joker (JPN - 2006/12/28) (USA - 11/06/07) about 11 months gap Joker 2 (JPN - 2010/04/28) (USA - 09/19/11) about a year and 5 months gap
  19. What do those icons next to the skill name mean? I'm doing skill set info on the dragon quest wikia (for this game in particular) and I need to know the actual names for those icons. There's a lightning icon (I think it means Attack magic) There's a blue cross icon (Heal magic I think) There's a fist symbol (Attack skill) There's another lightning icon but its more zig zag (Support Magic/Buff/Debuff) Etc...
  20. For those of you that get an error code today for trying to enter the ranking battles, or other online battles, you need to update. Step 1: On your Japanese 3DS, go to the nintendo eshop. Step 2: Scroll to the last image on the left till you cant scroll left anymore. Go into it. Step 3: Youll see 2 tabs. one that says soft in japanese, then qr code. click the second one. Step 4: Scan this QR Code, and it'll take you directly to the update.
  21. I only have 2 more scout questions to go before I get the final prize; A Gold Card that gives 20% discount at shops. However, I can't proceed further unless I have 4 of the Slime Hero's. The only way to get them is through Nintendo Download Zone and you have to be in areas like Kanto, etc in Japan.
  22. Here is a list of every item you can buy in the Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland 3D Wi-Fi Shop. In order for the guy at the Wi-Fi Shop booth to sell you items, you need to access and do wifi ranking battles. Each time you do so, it downloads the wifi store information for that day. Mondays: ãµã—ãŽãªãã®ã¿ (Mysterious Nuts) 6000G ブラックã®è¨¼ (Proof of Black) 7500G MP回復ã®è¨¼ (Proof of MP Recovery) 2000G クィーンã®è¨¼ (Proof of Queen) 12000G ギラガードã®è¨¼ (Proof of Gira Guard) 7500G ドルマガードã®è¨¼ (Proof of Doruma Guard) 7500G デインガãƒ
  23. Is there an easier and faster way to get gold then killing Metal King's in the Golden Area? (Gate of Hope 5F) They give around 900G each. I get between 30000G - 40000G per the alotted time allowed each time I'm there before it boots me out.
  24. This is my DQM Terry's Wonderland 3D Profile: I'm sure that monsters you can only get by transferring from pro will be changed when DQM Terry's Wonderland 3D gets released over in North America. The way to get said monsters will definitely be different in the localized version.
