  1. I’ve cleared the story in New Pokemon Snap! Really love all the stuff you can do. Every time you go through a course, you’ll find at least one thing you didn’t before, such as a hidden Pokémon or a Pokémon doing something unusual that you can take a picture of. I believe I’m missing about 40 more Pokémon to photograph on top of all the alternate pictures for each Pokémon. I want to see how much I can do before I move on to something else.

  2. I never got into Star Ocean, so that’d be my first venture into the series. I find myself trying more and more new games these days and I have yet to be disappointed, though I’m sure that will happen someday.

  3. Same here! I'm waiting to start it, but I love tri-Ace games. I was happy it got ported to modern consoles cause I missed out on it when they rereleased those on the PSP.

  4. That's amazing about the dumbells! Thanks for the theory about the sword, @ignasia. I don't want to break it open to find out, but if dumbells work then I think we can rule the sword out as the issue. I had long since suspected it was the sensor, based on the foiled sword offering no change from the regular sword. So the problem is more than likely the sensor then. @Mimas I appreciate the article about the assembly. I think I'll give it a try, just opening it up and making sure all the parts are there. I'll also try to reach out to the other contact you mentioned, to see if they made any progress. Thanks, all!

  5. SaGa Frontier Remastered: Still slowly working through Red’s story. I find this game is easy to play for an hour or two then set it down for the night. These SaGa games are good for playing in chunks. Anyway, I took down the first of the leaders from BlackX, Berva. Funny enough, you actually meet this guy earlier on in Red’s story in the masked material arts tournament in the Shingrow region. Defeating him was difficult since you have fight his boss fight twice (first time you beat him he retreats to try and safe his own skin) but I managed to win and was rewarded with Shingrow Palace blowing up! Wait, that’s not a good thing! Jokes aside, I wasn’t expecting that, nor did I expect one of the ruins in that region to be an important part of BlackX’s plans. I know I’m only into my second story with the game, but I like that you get to learn new details about areas you may have previously gone to in another story.

  6. Yeah I took a look at sale games too, the one that caught my eye was Star Ocean First Departure R. I think it’s going for like 10ish bucks. Haven’t pulled the trigger on it yet because my list of purchased and unplayed games is ever-growing.

  7. Those are some great thoughts. I will agree that no DQ game dives into relationships the way V does and that would be kinda neat. As for the post-game content, I think most of us would love that. Though depending on how extensive the extra content is, I may use it as an excuse for a third playthrough I really would love for them to bring the job system back to DQ. I think that would add TONS of potential playtime and replay value. That, and a more explorable open world would make the game a 10 for me.
