  1. Yeah, it is very interesting how it could all fit together, good work

  2. I started doing that a few episodes in, just last episode@YangustheLegendaryBandit thought to post it here. I insert all the music anyways, so figured I might as well start putting where I insert it into the show notes (and thus a copy here).

  4. Catching up on more Sidequest: I remember renting Castlevania 2 from one of the local VHS rental places in the 80s (before Blockbuster moved in, in the early 90s.) It was a lot of fun and reminded me of Zelda 2 a lot. I've always liked this one better than the original Castlevania, for its RPG elements, but the area-based level caps are kind of annoying. Oof. Fester's Quest was rough. My brother bought this one. I remember the difficulty spikes for the alien boss battles being completely nuts. That Addam's Family rap, btw was M.C. Hammer. He slips in a self-referencial "Addam's Too-L

  5. Hey @Pendy, I saw you once post a screenshot of one of the Super Robot Wars (Super Robot Tensei) games. I'd love to try those out in English. You mentioned on the podcast about creating an Asian account or PS4 profile and you can buy the copies of the game in English that were released in Asia. Is that possible for the entire series? I think the screenshot you posted had a mech from Gunbuster, which I loved in the early 90s. I'm sure I'd really enjoy playing this, particularly if it features any rare or obscure anime mech from 80s anime, like Dangaioh.

  6. In previous years, I got a game called 'Dungeon of the Endless' which is a Tower Defense rogue like game. They have a whole franchise on the 'Endless' aspect of it and have made a few other games. For the last day of the steam sale, I got Endless Legend, which is a 4X game like Civ. I also picked up Endless Space, which is kind of like Stellaris as far as I can tell. I got it for free, though. Also started playing Dungeon of the Endless again because that game really is my jam. It's a lot of fun.

  7. Roto. I really used to dislike it, but, if you look at his shield, it's there clear as day. ROTO. Not Loto. Not Erdrick. Roto. That's what is correct, so that's what I like.

  8. And WHY Wouldn't Playable Monsters be Feasible? I mean; they COULD add Lizzie as a Playable Character; as well as Playable Monster Characters that make their debut in this game! Why should Healix be the ONLY Monster on the Protagonists' Side?! that's rather limiting; Especially When We could see Lizzie tearing through swarms of opponents on the Battlefield!

  9. Okay. At last I have the DPS comparison between Lazarel/Teresa as sage with bow. I ran as much attack up buffs as I could with an uber ace of spoils that gives 20% ability damage increases. Ran most of my DPS off Shining Shot and Hyper Sniper, and used them to the limit as much as my MP would allow. I got about five or six criticals over the course of the match that shaved off considerable time, which I cannot get with Bianca...and I ended up roughly 20 seconds faster. Disregarding my last move that whiffed on him, time would've been about 6:07 or 6:08. So taking into consideration the sh

  10. I did another test run, and got one that was actually "clean". I'll leave the original post up for strats, but gonna edit out the DPS segments because I got some new results that make me really believe otherwise. I'll include them in here though: So I mentioned getting getting sub six minutes with Bianca was feasible, but I finally had a really solid run with extremely low crap from Estark. I shaved off almost half a second with it. Right at 6:30. 24 seconds shaved off. Pretty good considering. It should be possible to push a tad below 6:20 at best. Probably around 6:15. So now I bel

  11. For those who aren't aware, Wiimmfi is a project from a group of talented/passionate developers that are striving to revive wifi functionality for Wii/DS games. Mostly known for their work with Mario Kart Wii, there are now plenty of games getting the same treatment, most recently DQMJ2! DQMJ2 just went into public testing about a week ago, and is avalible for anyone interested to use! At the moment, the wifi tourniment doesn't work (I'm guessing that required a specially build server), but wifi battles with friends and random players is fully functional. For anyone interested, it's

  12. Given how 11 referenced and drew upon so many past DQ elements, I honestly expected Rubiss to pop up somehow but surprisingly there wasn't a single reference to her. Also in a sense I think you can consider her a goddess since she's the one who created Alefgard
