So, this is promising for an English release.

The new update makes it so that everyone can use auto-battle regardless of if they have the star pass or not! Holy cow, this makes the story and easier event levels so much easier. It takes care of all pots and skillful finishes!

Of course the new update trailer shows that pumpkins are going to be used for the thanksgiving event. I just removed and sold all my pumpkins last week.. Ugh

My headcanon is that being an hero is seen as a legitimate occupation in universe. It's not something that you drop everything to do, it's something that becomes your form of employment for the time being. IDK if I'm explaining it this enough...

It technically did since it is simply an iso running on an emulator. The problem is that there are no controllers that I am aware of that have analog triggers. The GameCube controller worked but only as a third party controller. This proper support has allowed the use of them. They also fixed a lot of things like the menu lag.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll look into that sometime. I think we all interpret the stories of these games a bit differently and that's refreshing. Dragon Quest games are open to interpretation to a certain extent. I can only imagine all the fan theories on things such as whether or not the entire series is within the same continuity, whether or not the very Earth-like world of DQIII is actually an earth of our past or some alternate dimension Earth, etc.
