  1. Hey guys, so some years back there was a topic asking who the cover artist for DWII was in NA. Nobody managed to figure it out, however years later I tracked down Chris Hopkins as the artist for DWIII and IV on NES and I did an interview with him. Well the only thing we had to go off of for DWII's cover art was a lone signature in the corner. Now @Dwaine seemed to think the signature was "kis" however it looks like we may have been looking at it the wrong way. This painting wasn't done by a Western Artist, but a Japanese one! The very same signature appears on t

  2. There's a local group I joined on Facebook just to troll it. It would post local happenings, deals, and such. The first post I saw was Sonic having their 99 cent corn dog day. I responded with the best thing Lindsay Ellis has ever made. Posted that and thought, "Well, that's it for me!" Yet somehow... I wasn't banned! In the following months she would continue to post Sonic's monthly deal and I would respond with the gif. It's been about a year and she makes a disproportionate amount of Sonic and James Coney Island posts. I'm being baited and I'm more than happy to take it.

  3. Dragon Quest 2’s original Famicom box art is one of my favorite Dragon Quest pieces of art Toriyama has made, but saying the NES version art sucked is a bit of an exaggeration. It’s different, yes, but it has some cool details and interesting takes on the main trio.

  6. DW3 for the Game Boy Color was my favorite game in the series, except for the monsters series. It wasn't until DQIX came out that I liked a main entry more. At that point I had played 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 9. I put so many hours into this game. I built a team of 4 thieves to harvest seeds and acorns. I built 4 Fighters that gained all the spells first. The fact that you could permanently keep spells when switching to to a non-spellcaster class was awesome. The customization is what really made this game work for me. I even played the game enough to actually reach GranDragon, and earn

  7. I'm a rando artist from the Internet. I just came to the forum not so long ago with the goal of learning a bit more of the DQ universe. I was a huge fan of the Monster Joker series when I was a kid. And now I would like to draw a lot of the monsters of this franchise just to practice a bit. I love creature design and this is a good opportunity to practice. But since I'm kinda new on this I would like to know some good ones to start. I know some names but I played the Spanish version of the DQMJ2 so I don't know most of the original names and I want to search for good image references of this c
