I was searching the net and came across this recently dropped English translation update for Itadaki Street on the PS2! Though no character bio/dialogue is present, everything else is pretty much one hundo. They went and done it! https://gbatemp.net/threads/itadaki-street-dragon-quest-final-fantasy-30th-anniversary-translation.499133/ The patch translates in game menus, making the game playable if you know how to play Fortune Street. I can tell you first hand that it is awesome.1 point

Yeah, I’ve thought about it. However, I don’t own a 3DS. Sure, it’d be great to get one and IV-IX. Then I’d have to get a Japanese 3DS to play XI, right? I might do all of that in a few years. I just can’t justify the purchases atm. Having our first child has made me cut down on a lot of the extra spending! But maybe I’ll get 2 3DSs when he’s old enough. Haha1 point

Actually would have preferred to hear you than the host. I'm sure he's nice. He just seemed like the type that feels the need to constantly narrate, which gets in the way when you want to hear insight from the developers or new voice acting.1 point

I'm hoping that if it doesn't come out in the US, that it can be easily translated thanks to a PS4/Steam localization. I -really- want to play it in SNES-style. Plus I don't have a PS4.1 point
