Barbatos

A follower of Psaro. He is one of the four demons guarding the barriers in Nadria. He fights the Chosen only to be defeated. He later reappeared in Yuji Hori's favorite game and became a normal enemy. After a long hiatus, they reappeared in Dragon Quest 9 and prowled the hallways of the Realm of the Mighty. They are very deadly, being able to cast Kaboom, breathe fire, and increase tension.
