One of Hargon and Malroth's minions, these monsters first appeared in Dragon Quest 2. An unpopular monster type, it did not reappear in many mainstream titles. However, it DID appear in spinoffs, the Monsters series and has recently reappeared in Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2: Professional. It has yet to reappear in DQ X if the fans want it.
