Rpg Maker 2000 help please?

04 January 2011 - 08:22 PM

I recently downloaded RPG Maker 2000 and have been slowly making a little game on it. Everything was going pretty well. However, I turned my computer off after a few days and when I reloaded RM2K again and tested my game the font was all smushed together. I have attempted to google for my answer, but to no avail. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

Yepp. Happy Birthday to me! This day is also the birthday of Mick Jagger, as well as the day Liberia declared independence and the day the post office was established. So happy July 26, everyone! :upperslime:

Recruiting Barbatos

21 June 2010 - 06:09 PM

Today, I made the unwise decision to recruit a barbatos in my game of dqv so I can use him to wipe the floor with estark, as he completely kicked my butt the first couple of tries. Now, I am beginning to think that the leveling it will take me to get said barbatos will make me strong enough to be able to kill estark with like half my team anyway...

I was under the false impression when I began that the odds of getting one of these guys was 1/128. I fought 50 of them (killing the barbatos last and over the required level). Frustrated, i checked the odds. 1/256!!! The only consolation i can give myself is that at least I did not resolve to catch a LMS.

On the plus side, my entire team has gone from the late 30's to mid 40's, and I can now successfully run from most enemies in estark's dungeon, which is handy. But, whew, I didn't realize what i was getting into with this.

Loto was the STUPIDEST legendary hero ever.

I recently decided to do a quick replay of DW1. Not too long, only 3 bosses, yaknow. As i played, I began to realize how stupid loto was as to where he left his stuff... sun stone and rain staff were okay. but why'd he choose the dude who mixes them up to be a complete $#!&$#!? I mean does it really matter if someone other than the descendent of loto rebuilds the bridge? I mean as long as SOMEONE does it... and then there's the sword and armor. He makes the unwise decision to leave this amazing armor in a completely unprotected dinky little hick town in the middle of nowhere surrounded by powerful monsters... real surprise that one got destroyed. And, last but certainly not least, the sword. Apparently after killing Zoma Loto thought it would be a good idea to just leave his sword lying around in the evil castle. It'll be super safe there, right? I therefore conclude that no other legendary hero could even come close to being as idiotic as Loto.

I was just wondering which game was more liked. I'm gonna have to say DWM2 is better in my opinion, it has a fuller storyline, and since i played it years before i ever tried DWM i suppose it also has a nostalgia value as well. Either way, what are you guys' opinions?
