Well I still haven't gotten around to finishing FF4 yet, but I had a wonderful afternoon of Ys III: Wanderers from Ys the other day (yes, it's that short, that my first time playing it consisted of about 5 hours beginning to end).

Well if you go back far enough, essentially everyone's descended from the first human, or wherever you draw the line of homo sapien in the evolutionary chain. One of the prevailing theories says that we originated somewhere in central-eastern Africa. But as for the Americas, they were populated by the "Natives" at least 10,000 years ago, as opposed to European and other immigrants who didn't arrive (and stay) until the 1400's or so. So about 6% of the time. The other 94% has to be worth something.
Myself, I'm half Ukrainian. One of my grandparents on each side is of western Ukrainian stock. I've got a quarter French Canadian, as that side of the family has been in Canada since the 1640's, and then the remaining quarter is some mix of Irish and English.
As for famous connections, Sir Wilfrid Laurier, seventh prime minister of Canada, is my great-great-great-great uncle.

Did you guys know about the monsters hidden around the world? I've found two so far:
Mt. Fuji - there's a Specter.
Hawaii - main island, near the centre, there's a Red Dragon!
You have to zoom in to a certain level before they'll appear (roughly 1/3 from the top of meter). What else have you guys found?

Jessica from Dq8...
Maybe I'm alone in this, but I actually find Jessica to be rather unattractive. They sure "sexied" her up, but that really didn't do it for me. I'd have preferred if they made her a more ordinary gal instead. Or at least been more subtle about it.

It's heeeeeeere!!! And WOW, is it great!
The 3D graphics are really impressive.
The soundtrack is beautiful and energetic.
The dialogue is downright hilarious.
The action is intense.
The controls take a wee bit of getting used to, but once you get it, they're really nice.
The plastic stand actually feels really nice to use too.
You can tell they really put a lot of effort into this game. There are so many extras, game modes, options, and all that. Plus, there's a HUGE influence from Smash Bros. in pretty well every aspect of the game, especially the menus and the multiplayer. And that's not a bad thing at all.
