I finally have created a website for DWC! Its only a wordpress and Its very simple and will greatly expanded upon in the future but it suits my needs right now :tounge2: .

Information available as of right now consists of equipment lists, item lists, and spells lists, screenshots, and downloads, but soon there will a full walk through of the game, maps, and monster list. So check back often!

I don't know if woodus wants to change the font for this, but have you tried mapping the the beginning single-quote ( ' ) to the double-quote key ( " )? Or is the start quote in the Character Map? You could copy-paste from there. Sounds like a lot of work, but you seem to be looking into the minor details, so I thought I'd try to help solve this.

Also, Jamirus has a search button on the "controller" for his game, I wonder if his code could be applied to a menu option, and modified to search for different types of events, like "TALK", "TAKE", "SEARCH", "STAIRS", and "DOOR". If that would work, they could probably be added to a script like "Wortana's Lite Menu" to get an exact DW1 match. You should talk to Jamirus, I'd be willing to help with what I could but I know almost nothing about RGSS.

EDIT: Is there a reason that "SELL" is disabled in every shop weapon and armor shop?

Asides from the things mentioned above, and the battle screen (which I am also working on myself), the game is very authentic. Great job! It's also kept my attention for longer at one time than the original ever did, so points for that too. (Although, I haven't really had a chance to play the original since I was a little kid... I might have to pull out my mom's old NES soon, or at least find our working copy of the game and try it out in my FC Twin.)

In the original Dragon Quest/Warrior, you couldn't sell your items in equipment shops, which sort of makes sense because you could only carry one weapon, armor, and shield at a time (the one you were wearing). The ability to carry multiple pieces of equipment was introduced in the second DQ/DW game.

Anyway, I played through the game and really enjoyed it. Very nostalgic. What program did you use to make the music?
